There is next to no reason for anything to have flashing lights besides “the aura brah.”
I have a friend with serious epilepsy and it makes me sad when she can’t participate because of it. It’s even worse when the stuff that are completely preventable. It’s lazy and pathetic.

Unfortunately, Divergence will not be safe for those with heart problems / epilepsy / notable motion sickness. The reasons include:
- Fluctuating POV
- View Bobbing
- Dynamic Camera Perspective
- Jumpscares
- Loud Sounds
- Lots of Violence
- Flashing Colors
...& more.
TLDR: Artorius has a vision for this game that he wants to see through, and if there were to be accessibility options added, it would only provide an unfair advantage and skimp out on what he wants ingame.
He experimented with thes options thoroughly, but unfortunately was not able to create them without accidentally poking a million other holes.
There will be a big warning at the beginning of the game that shows all dangers to people with these conditions.

I know it's easier to ignore people with accessibility than to actually acknowledge them, but I think games should put in a little more effort to be accommodating, especially when it comes to flashing lights.
