Such a legend … I miss him ❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wonder what 'Elbows' Alan would have made of current CofE events..
Honorary holder of a 'Persistent & Vexatious' badge
Think he'd look the bishops in the eye
"Told you so!"
Deep respect to his memory
Prophetic and god-filled

What I find astounding is how a lack of self awareness seems to prevail among those to whom we attribute leadership 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Jesu mercy, Mary pray 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Justin Welby's comments in the House of Lords about his resignation as Archbishop of Canterbury:
“we are the universe in the form of a human. And every time we are drawn to look up into the night sky and reflect on the awesome beauty of the universe, we are actually the universe reflecting on itself. And this changes everything.” @CACRadicalGrace thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Such a powerful image 🙏🙏🙏
“Mary is not standing with folded hands on a pedestal above Eve: she is standing with Eve, touching Eve, seeing her deeply. She knows the gift she is carrying is for Eve as much as it is for herself.” —Sr. Grace Remington

BREAKING: Hunter Biden just released a statement after being pardoned by President Joe Biden and it’s worth a read. Very well written and the right decision!
This reminded me how vital such support is for many clergy. My family and I were helped through the early years after my ordination and 5 years as a curate. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. Thank you
Shortly before her 17th birthday, clergy child, Maddie qualified to represent Team GB at the 2024 Paris #Paralympics. 🏅
There was just one problem: with less than a month between learning that she'd qualified, and traveling to France, the family had to work out how they'd afford this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
They gave us a call, and we were delighted to provide a Wellbeing grant to relieve the financial strain.

Things have just got a lot more difficult . Here’s what I think . I had no control over what just happened . None . But I do have control over how I will react to it . And I am not going to give up on the beautiful and the good , the grip on my dreams just got tighter .
We mustn’t forget the hell of Covid and what our @NHSEngland went through 💙💙💙💙💙💙
I really do worry people have forgotten what Covid-19 was like for NHS staff. I went onto ICU wards and saw it myself. I spoke to staff broken by relentless death.
@Kevin_Fong testimony @covidinquiryuk needs to be heard:

It’s going to take a while to wind back the screw, the previous government turned it so tightly it’s almost jammed. Ironic that the real Screws don’t work in prisons.
Deeply worrying report from @HMIPrisonsnews. Prisoners stuck in their cells for long periods are more likely to reoffend and suffer with their health. With the budget due in October @HMTreasury and @MoJGovUK must reverse the years of brutal funding cuts in our prisons.
