Album I co-produced for @RevCoffeeCCC up for major music award nimusicprize.com
After 3 years of listening to EVERYTHING on these lists, and being opened up to some incredible NI artists (esp @arboristmusic @Dani_Larkin_ @JoshuaBurnside) I’m really happy to have got my act together and got my own little album out into the wild and in contention for this….
And looking forward to following up my imminent @NIMusicPrize album of the year with these two tracks; one a melancholic late summer rem-ish pop banger, and the other a 10 minute psychedelic acoustic 2 chord drone thing . So treats all around then…..
Playing at record producer again this morning with @RevCoffeeCCC Two lovely new songs from the maestro of ministerial melancholy @_4_d_4_m_ @andreadlthomson Will work on them over the coming days to add the bells and whistles...or more likely tambourine and vocal harmonies
Looking forward to winning this in November @sciencebase
❗CLOSING TONIGHT❗

All I'm saying is that if *I* was trying to pull off the biggest jailbreak in history, I'd establish myself as the world's most beloved keycutter, and then get appointed Prisons Minister.
Gorgeous writing about a gorgeous album.
Just a shame they’re both not double the length….
The best music journalism always sends me scurrying back to the music….
At @stereogum I wrote about SONIC NURSE, my favorite Sonic Youth album: more than EVOL, SISTER, DAYDREAM NATION, name it. I had great fun listening through the Geffen years too. stereogum.com/2266773/sonic-…
Heartily agree.
Just done it myself too…

Link in bio, £5 , or you can do a Jay Z and pay £99 like he did for Radiohead’s in rainbows….
(But whilst you’re “doing a Jay z” do make sure you don’t also cheat on your life partner)
Well, the reviews (texts) are flooding in (3 in total). This one is actually the best thing anyone has ever said to me ever in my entire life (apart from the time my daughter thought a poster of Ethan Hawke was me)
