A moniker that distraughted well meaning Ghanaians. However hopeful, less than two years aftermath, the story is different. All the metrixes are smiling to the books. From inflation to monetary policy rate, rating cards to Cedi stability, cost of living to purchasing power, the future is bright. We cannot help it than to build on the solid foundation laid. All common funds disbursed, statutory expenditures honored, bondholders reimbursed, developmental projects funded, loans and amortization serviced, and inherited commitments settled, the next is economic expansion for job creation. The National Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah is elected inaugural Chairman of the African Political Parties Initiative (APPI) for a 3-year tenure in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Parties came together to strategise on how to be architects of Africa’s economic future, proffering realistic solutions to bridge the labor market gap of 7 million where over 10 million youth chase 3 million formal jobs annually. That gap is what the APPI seeks to close by building expertise in agriculture, trade, energy, health, cyber-security and public finance for transitional leadership and shared economic diversification.
