This morning we were encouraged to open our eyes and notice and see the pin pricks of light present in our lives everyday. Light in our darkness.

People become homeless in many ways. No matter who you are or where you come from, everyone deserves a safe home. Listen to Colin Firth provide the voiceover in a new animated film that tells real stories of individuals who had nowhere else to turn. #ThisIsAlex

It was 1917. In an act of extreme courage, 10,000 Black men, women & children march in silence through the streets of New York to protest lynching in America. ‘Black Lives Matter’. Over a century later, at the start of Black History Month 2021, the cry remains #BlackLivesMatter !

So a first visit to a prison today to see another model of chaplaincy. Wonderful at times, beyond sad at others. Loved it!

A joy to welcome A in baptism & welcome back @ReverendHelena to officiate at the baptism. Water from the River Jordan was used (continuing a family tradition). We gathered to share fellowship, remember what baptism means for us all, we broke bread, prayed and sung. 🕊
