Said this on @RevolutionRecap last night, Farrell is one of the absolute best athletes and people there ever has been to cover. Just a truly awesome guy who was also really damn good at soccer #NERevs
“Thank you” will never be enough. đŸ’™â€ïž After a legendary 14-year playing career spent entirely with the club that selected him first overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft, defender Andrew Farrell has announced that he will officially retire from professional soccer at the conclusion of the 2026 season. The current longest-tenured athlete in Boston pro sports, Farrell will retire as the Revs' all-time leader in MLS seasons, minutes, appearances, and starts. đŸ’Ș

Not many players can influence a game all over the pitch. Carles Gil can, and he made the difference for the Revolution on Saturday.@NERevolution @TonyHusband

I asked New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner about balancing the demands of being a professional athlete with fatherhood, particularly the special moments his wife has shared on social media of their children staying up late, sometimes into the early morning hours, waiting for him to return home after matches. Turner delivered a heartfelt response about what those moments mean to him, how his family motivates him, and the lessons he hopes to pass down to his children. “You know, being a father has been the best thing in my life. To go home, win, lose, draw, regardless, and be received with open arms just because I’m there makes getting out of bed in the morning a lot easier and makes the aches and pains all worth it. “You know, those moments, they’re real. I crush her because I’m like, ‘Why you gotta record this? Why you gotta record that?’ But the reality is, she’s capturing some really special moments for me. “Being a professional athlete, it’s not always been super easy for me. So, what I’d like to prove to my kids is that they can achieve whatever they want to achieve in life. It doesn’t have to be sport, but there’s going to be bumps in the road. You have to keep showing up and keep honing your craft the best way you can. “The thing that we always say in our house is, ‘Try your best.’ Whatever it is that you’re trying to do, we don’t say that we can’t do something. We just give it our absolute best.” 📾: @AdrianHeinsohn đŸŽ„: @ Ashhhturner on TikTok #NERevs | #USMNT | #MLS

The finish is good, but Matt Polster does so much before he scores. He's all over this play. #NERevs

Carles Gil has grown since joining the #NERevs in 2019. "Sometimes I watch some videos or some games that are in my past in Europe, and sometimes I don't recognize me because I changed a lot." And he's still looking to get better. theblazingmusket.com/carles-

Hey everyone, the youth soccer club my son plays for in the fall is looking to develop land into playable youth soccer fields in my community. As a non profit, it is hard to finance a project like this. Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated. gofund.me/0f57a9e3b

I asked Marko Mitrovic on an update on Jack Harrison and Alhassan Yusuf, and how the #NERevs change tactically without them. “We don't have Jack and Yusuf and we're not going to have them back for a few more weeks. It's kind of like, who is the next man? “We are very aware that every player has very different characteristics. When we go into the game and if Luca [Langoni] is playing as a wide forward or someone else, Luca has different characteristics. And we always try to adapt to players' strengths and who they are. We cannot expect that somebody comes and copy-paste what Luca is doing, or Luca is copying and pasting what someone else is doing. “We are not going to change ourselves because of certain personalities on the field, but we have to adapt to those players and who they are."
