Former GOP chief justice of Texas Supreme Court endorses James Talarico msn.com/en-us/news/other/for… Thomas Phillips, the former Republican chief justice of the Supreme Court of Texas, says he’s endorsing Democratic state Rep. James Talarico for U.S. Senate.
Talarico “knows firsthand how a legislative body can function in a bipartisan spirit,” Phillips said in an opinion piece in Beaumont Enterprise. (You can read it here.)
Meanwhile, he said, Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton has led a public career “marred almost since its inception by charges of impropriety.” Paxton, currently the state’s attorney general, was previously impeached by his own party and was indicted on three felony counts.

BREAKING: House Judiciary Democrats just released a 50-page report alleging Trump was an “active participant” in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women in the mid-to-late 1990s.
The report, titled “The Case Against Donald Trump Emerging in the Epstein Files and DOJ’s Desperate Efforts to Cover It Up,” cites five women who accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in Epstein’s company and calls for an independent special counsel to investigate the president, co-conspirators, and what Democrats describe as the Justice Department’s cover-up under AG Todd Blanche.

🇺🇸 Pete Hegseth just got absolutely humiliated by Senator Tammy Duckworth!
Senator Tammy Duckworth, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who lost both legs while serving in Iraq, challenged Hegseth:
"I'm glad you brought that up. Can you name a single country that belongs to ASEAN and explain what agreement we have with it? And, by the way, how many countries are in ASEAN? Frankly, I'm not sure you even know who our allies are."
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth:
"Well, I can't give you the exact number, but I certainly know our allies in South Korea, Japan, and Australia..."
Senator Duckworth:
"None of the countries you just mentioned are members of ASEAN. I suggest you do your homework before engaging in these discussions."
And this is the kind of clueless bullshit running the Pentagon. Absolutely unbelievable.
