I'm not sure you can do a better job of broadcasting a sporting event than what Dan Hoard and Tony Pike just did at the end of the first half of Cincinnati-Texas Tech. The excitement and energy were genuine, the analysis was sharp, and the clarity and cadence made it an absolute pleasure to listen to.

We gotta get Skycast off the main options.
Hey @YouTubeTV we gotta talk. I’m switching back and forth between games all day and I keep getting stuck on alt casts late in games. I watched overtime of Miami-FSU from a blimp with somebody chewing into the mic. Please advise.

College basketball's new preseason is awesome. Allowing public D1 exhibitions and expanding to three preseason games was huge. A million times better than the secret scrimmage era.

As a podcast, we were early on the Boye Mafe hype train. And @RickBroering picks Mafe as the most pleasant surprise through the start of the season.

Great question.
If Skinny could ban one these types of commercials from airing on TV which would he choose? Prescription Pharmaceutical's, Sporting Betting, Prediction Markets, or Political Campaign Ads?

New episode of podcast is up! The Bengals gave one away in Pittsburgh. UC is 4-0. The Reds are stuck. And apparently Skinny had a few run-ins with the law as a kid. youtu.be/nO4xIM6_3aY?si=NzVd…

Tim Brando is spot on here. It’s a fascinating time in college sports. Programs need their fans to be more invested than ever, yet a lot of coaches seem increasingly determined to restrict access. With roster turnover being what it is, fans have less time than ever to get to know the players they’re being asked to support, all while being asked to spend more than ever and getting less in return.
