Thousands of homes could be spared from BC wildfires if the NDP spent as much money on fire prevention as they do on carbon reduction. Ironically, the carbon emissions from wildfires are double those of any others.

You don’t have to love Elon Musk to recognize what this headline says about us.
A country that spends more time criticizing wealth creation than encouraging it sends a clear message to builders: your success is tolerated, not celebrated.
Canada should be the best place in the world to build ambitious companies. Headlines like this make us look like we’re not quite ready for that.

The average Canadian family spends more on taxes than food, shelter, and clothing combined. This country is a tax farm.

Imagine you or I filming ourselves wrecklessly shooting off a semi automatic .30 calibre SKS into the air on public land, let alone doing so with a legally prohibited unpinned magazine. A heavily armed ETF unit would be on your doorstep in a heartbeat. And what is the Police vest for?
Even if caught, what are the odds that these guys will be out on bail in minutes, followed by a slap on the wrist from a Liberal Judge to prevent them from being deported?
Canada is not a serious country.

So let me get this straight...
Canada is in a recession—the only G7 country currently in one. Unemployment is up. Inflation is rising. Food insecurity is at a record high.
Yet the highest proportion of Canadians since 2017 now say the country is on the right track.
That's either a remarkable display of optimism—or a sign that many Canadians aren't getting the full economic story from the news they consume.

Hey @CBCNews , lots of us on the centre-left are feeling the same as Patrick, would be nice if I could actually comment on this article rather than posting here. cbc.ca/news/canada/first-per…

🚀Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone, but I’m launching a new SaaS tool today (w big launch discount).
“Outline by Presflow” is the best way to start every presentation.
If you’re a public speaker, or give presentations at work, you need Outline.
Link and discount in thread…

💡Presflow solves the universal presentation problem.
Everyone struggles with developing the structure, story, and flow of a presentation. #Storytelling is hard, so Presflow guides you through creating your outline and narrative *before* you start thinking about slides.

You’ve heard the horror stories: #AI is going take our jobs. AI is going to fill the internet with junk content. AI is going to run for president. 🤖
But #smallbusinesses are using AI to close skill gaps and accelerate their revenue
