One reason I will continue to say that thinking financial literacy doesn't matter, is nonsense
It's cute in your 20s & maybe even 30s but certain financial decisions are costing you
You can find a balance in your approach, think of your current and older self

The only redeeming outcome I can hope for from this golden age of grift (h/t @agnostoxxx) is that people maybe start to recognize that the two parties only resemble illusions of contrast with no real opportunity to enact lasting improvements. They derive their power from stoking tribal competition over hot button social issues and deflecting attention away from any substantive policy.
And when a strong man candidate with a storied history of corruption and an axe to grind comes along promising tectonic change, perhaps you recognize it for the advantageous grift that it is and vote with clear eyes and a grounded view instead of being swept up in a surge of emotion.
The system is broken at its bedrock and it certainly won't be improved by a known sociopath with a penchant for self enrichment. It's one thing to vote for a volatile change agent knowing what you're buying, but almost no one did this. Many voted based on hope and have spent the past 18 months having to redefine the boundaries (read: lowering the bar) of what they find acceptable in a leader.
None of these fucking reptiles care about your quality of life. They are a cabal of pedophilic elites siphoning from the teat of the proletariat and no series of elections will deliver a new republic. We must tear the structure down to its studs and rebuild. And that will only be possible when the wheels come off this morbid bus in broad fucking daylight.
Wake up. Be better. EXPECT MORE from yourselves and others.

Basic things that you could do to help the younger generations:
- Stop exposing them to adult viewpoints/lifestyle choices as children
- Not smoking weed around them
- Advocating for education, skills & discipline and actually leading by example
- Taking them places that aren't only for entertainment
- Letting them see you workout and value health
- Allowing them to be bored sometimes
- Making them read daily
