Protector of Democracy. I don't care if I have followers, because I'm documenting this for my kids. I need them to believe it really all happened.

Replying to @thespybrief
@thespybrief now there’s unconfirmed reports… But looking at radar they make sense, that the aircraft today flew into a supercell with FL 450 tops… definitely something preferable to fly around. Then right below the same general storm there’s some 200-year flooding going on right now.

That’s sadly going to be a “digging into the crater to find only pieces of engine & landing gear, maybe wing spars” event.

Imagine a rogue AI agent liquidating your bank account and investment portfolio. If you are the only victim, I suppose you could get made whole by the AI company responsible. If rogue agents liquidate hundreds of billions across millions of accounts, the AI company would go bankrupt and you wouldn’t get made whole. Imposing criminal liability on AI executives might help mitigate it at the front end, but once the crime is complete and you lose everything criminal responsibility will be necessary but completely insufficient.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

BREAKING: Two critical security flaws in PHP, the programming language behind much of the internet, are forcing governments to take websites offline, per the BBC. The flaws were found by AI. Security firm Wiz called them the “most severe vulnerabilities ever discovered” by the technology.

Odd that the folks who are vocally fretting about Iran's non-existent nuclear threat to the USA never mention that North Korea, a far nuttier regime than the Islamic Republic, plus one we're still technically in a state of war with, can nuke pretty much the entire USA, right now.
This brings to mind the pro-war tactic that the Bushies used against critics in the run-up to the Iraq War. Amounted to, "So, you think we should just allow evil to triumph in the world?" And: "So, you don't think Arabs deserve democracy?"
