I can't stop watching the footage I shot Saturday inside U.S. Steel's historic Edgar Thomson Plant in Braddock. As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, U.S. Steel gave journalists incredibly rare access to film a tour of the mill, Andrew Carnegie's first. @KDKA story ⬇️

This is one of Coach Ed Dawson's former players. I saw him sitting in front of a midfield memorial. "I've been in a dark place in my life where I damn near wanted to take my own, & nobody was there but Coach," he said. "He checked on me every single day, texted me every day." Before each game, they'd meet at midfield. "Either to talk about the game plan or to tell each other we love each other," the former player - 2023 Cornell High School grad Raequan Troutman said. It's why he felt it so important to return to that spot, and sit with his thoughts. It's the place, more than anywhere else, he felt connected to Dawson. "Coach was like a second father to me." @KDKA

Peak fall foliage in Pittsburgh is here! Enjoy it for the next few days.

We’re either approaching or at peak fall colors at Point State Park in Pittsburgh!

Remembering Coach Dawson: An emotional candlelight vigil was held in Coraopolis to honor the life of head Cornell High School football coach Ed Dawson, who collapsed during Friday's game & later died. "He had a way of being tough & loving at the very same time." @KDKA story ⬇️

Governor Josh Shapiro touted his record during a rally with Western Pennsylvania Democrats in Pittsburgh last night, part of a statewide bus tour ahead of election day. "When I sit behind that desk, I fight for you every single day," he said. Our @KDKA story ⬇️

The NFL referees in Paris for the Steelers-Saints game should have to throw in a little bit of French. "Set the game clock to 1:48, s'il vous plaît."

Sunrise overlooking Point State Park and the confluence of Pittsburgh's three rivers. Who else is waking up earlier than they normally would on a Sunday to watch the Steelers in Paris? #HereOuiGo 🥐

Some Allegheny County small businesses are already looking at laying people off or moving out of the county due to the just-passed mandatory paid parental leave policy, according to a tax professional specializes in working with small businesses. Our @KDKA story ⬇️

It’s a beautiful fall day in Pittsburgh.

The last two Pittsburgh sunrises.

Clearly, I was not prepared for this.
