I’ve been thinking about how dominant the big 6 archetype has been since M-A. The five dominant mons are so consistent with any flex 6th. I think the team could be solved if people tried using a very intelligent gorilla who was born on the moon with his signature Tesla Cannons.

Top Cut and 11th place at Worlds this year! I am incredibly happy with the result. I got to play mons vs some of the very best while also feeling like I’m getting back to where I want to be as a player. Still a lot of room to grow but I feel excited for next season! Harc the 🐐
I think the stupidest aspect of this entire application is that the "quality" of the team you make is based ENTIRELY off of the "rules" that Brady sets. Implying that any team without the VGC Corner Seal of Approval™️ is bad.

Thank you for the support everyone! Just for clarity, this is not ready yet. Here's what this actually "is"
- Website pulls from smogon (pokemon showdown) stats
- has defined rules in what a "good" team is. (so far i have: type synergy, both offensive and defensive, speed tierings, and speed control). calculates it for combined pokemon. then gives number. number is saved.
- from there, it checks usage stats and multiplies the usage stat with the previous calculated number. this is not "pure" but it does work as a great anchor.
- then as you add more pokemon, it looks for bridges and connects pokemon together through the usage stats the rules.
A bit about the build itself
- Idea came to me in the shower. I was thinking of a way to visualize teambuilding as I see it
- Opus 4.8 was the agent of choice (im out of Fable creds :p)
- For context, I have a whole codebase already with every pokemon uploaded into a database and I already have the usage linked up so producing this was much easier with my already-made context which made one-shotting this easier
- Still lots of fine-tuning needing to be done (im looking at you Kingamblora). both front-end and back-end.
