I’m incredibly honored and grateful for this opportunity!
East Noble baseball has meant a great deal to me since a young age growing up in the dugout as my dad coached there in the 90’s, playing here, and also spending time as an assistant.
Thank you for entrusting me!

Notice…no run & guns or velo chasing! Mechanical adjustments will stream line efficiency & lead to bumps in velo & strike zone command.
30 years coaching & HOF career…never seen run & guns in October equate to more strikes in the spring…EVER!

Thank you everyone that helped today! Mound/home plate renovation, power washing backstop walls/dugouts, cleaning press box/concession stand, taking down netting and putting together new equipment!
Special thanks to Bryce Ginder of the @TinCaps for guiding us!

BUNTING MANIPULATES PITCHER APPROACH AND SETS THE TABLE FOR FUTURE MOMENTS
With 2 outs and no body on in the 3rd inning, losing 4-0, @Brewers Manager Pat Murphy told #9 hitter David Hamilton to lay down a bunt in a seemingly unimportant at bat.
Why?
Because Murphy knew Hamilton was known for bunting and they could set the table for a future at bat and big moment later in the game where he’d get a pitch to hit.
And that’s exactly what happened.
Hamilton bunted.
Hamilton got out.
But in the 5th, in Hamilton’s next at bat, he got a pitch in the heart of the plate and singled scoring a run and bringing the Brewers within 1.
And in the 9th, Hamilton did it again, homering on a get me over slider and extending the Brewers lead to 6-4.
You bunt to create future moments, and the Brewers did just that.

Few things more true than this!
The 2027 recruiting class is getting screwed right now..
Between the transfer portal, roster limitations, and the uncertainty surrounding the new 5-for-5 eligibility rule, college coaches don't even know which players they'll have returning next year
But here's something I wish more families understood...
If your ultimate goal is to play baseball for a long time and potentially get drafted, STOP obsessing over the division
Find a coaching staff that's going to pour into you. A staff that has an actual plan to develop you physically, mechanically, and mentally over the next 3-4 years
I'd rather see a kid go D2 or D3 and become an absolute STUD than go D1 just to say he's D1
Stop choosing colleges based on the logo on the jersey. Choose the coaching staff that's going to turn you into the player you want to become!

Reminder…Asst Coaches are supposed to challenge you; question your decisions.
🗣️🔥
I believe great practices are as competitive as possible.
Keep score. Have winners and losers. Have consequences.
Players have to learn how to manage failure and success.
The better you can manage failure, the more success you will have. The better you are at managing success, the less failure you will have.
These are things players need to experience every single day.

If your HS coach(es) put on organized workouts in the offseason and you are not playing another sport…. I encourage you to take advantage of this quality FREE training/practice.
You don’t have to pay for training for it to be of value. If you take lessons, plan those for a time when you are not at your HS training. Then you get a double bonus. It should not be one or the other. Of course I’m talking about players who love the game and are hungry to get better.
*** Footnote: not everyone is blessed to have quality coaches who give up their time in the off season to help other. But if you do, take advantage of it and thank them.
It’s great to have film so you can go back and watch whatever you’ve might’ve missed during the process of a practice.
Players: Somebody with less talent than you is making it harder to leave him out of the lineup.
He shows up early. Runs hard when nobody’s timing him. Takes coaching without an excuse.
Talent opens the door. Your habits decide how long you stay.
It's Monday, and a hungrier dog is coming for your bone.. GET to work 💪
