Possibly oversharing a little here but, I just wanted to acknowledge myself for a second. Bare with.. When I was younger (around 17/18), my mother took my bank card without my knowledge while I was at work one day.. She emptied my savings, overdraft & left me in debt that I’m still repaying now.. This had a knock on effect going into adulthood.. moving out of my toxic family home brought new bills adding to my debt. Covid, redundancy & life hitting in general added to the destruction. My credit score is still recovering today.. Going no contact with her has brought me so much peace but the debt remains.. Little by little, it’s going away, I just can’t wait to clear it fully. I’m doing everything I can to undo the damage she did all those years ago. I’m so proud of me.❤️‍🩹
