@RiveredApp

A super-simple online RSS reader from @jalada. No unread badge. No need to categorise. Just a River of News. Looks a lil' bit retro, but still awesome.

Seeing a possible issue where 'Remember Me' isn't working. Keeping an eye on it...

Over 37% started using an RSS reader more than 10 years ago. What other product do you use every day for more than 10 years?

I think it's time to update the 7 year old screenshot on the homepage. It still has a 'Beta' flag 😅

There, isn't that nicer.
Web feeds are a better way to read the web. But if you don’t already know what it is, it’s hard to start. So I made a Getting Started guide that anyone can link to (and also wrote about why web feed/RSS usage is important)

Yes, we have access to over 40 million sources/feeds
Kinda ridiculous how much data RSS feeds contain. For just a handful of users and their feeds, Rivered processes a new article every 30 seconds. Must be tough to be @feedly.

I just explained what an rss feed is using instagram as an example and I have never felt older in my entire life.

A few updates to Rivered tonight. Mostly behind the scenes stuff, so let me know if anything looks broken...

But I also removed the Google+ share option. Lol.

I'm hoping to slow-and-steady tidy up Rivered a lil' bit. But first, it needs some spring cleaning, so nothing exciting just yet.
A couple of tweaks to Rivered this weekend. First, favicon are fixed. Second, feed discovery has been reactivated; you can now add a feed just by typing in any URL in the quick add / ‘new feed’ form, no need to hunt for the RSS feed yourself.
Big ups to @jalada, maker of @riveredapp, the best RSS reader ever. High five from California!
