We don't usually post gym videos to this channel, but this is pretty universally funny. Hope it lightens your day to see her 100th catch (sort of?) of the summer.
The ever popular Regionals Locked chart out today at: roadtonationals.com/results/… Scores remain high this year keeping the trend of the last few year going. There are actually 15 teams who already have an NQS over 197 (new record). Until just a few years ago, the avg was 6 or less.
We were asked to move up the NQS date to this week. The obvious effect of this is the dropping of nearly half of the teams from the Daily Rankings. Most will be back in the next week or so, but take it with a grain of salt since they don't mean much with that many teams missing.
All scores are in for Week 11 of NCAA Gymnastics. For the women, this next weekend is all about conference and the last chance for a better seeding to Regionals. And three teams fight for the last spot to go as a team. See: roadtonationals.com/results/…
Week 10 of NCAA Gymnastics is set. Getting close to Regionals time, so we've opened up the famous Regionals Locked Chart to see who has the best chances of making the list. Enjoy: roadtonationals.com/results/…
Week 8 is in the books. Most of the men's scores are individual scores from the Winter Cup, but the women move to the NQS this week which caused quite a bit of movement as teams start to drop their lowest scores. Rankings at: roadtonationals.com/results/…
It was pointed out that the last post was ambiguous with respect to when the NQS begins. The NQS starts with any meet from today through the end of season. The first rankings using the NQS formula will come out this Sunday on Feb 26th. Apologies for the confusion.
Week 6 of NCAA gymnastics is in the books. Still have one more week before the RQS kicks in which should both shake things up and solidify the top teams a little.
There was a slight adjustment made to the men's rankings today (the dates for the different formulas changed by a week pushing the date we switch back a week). Apparently, it should have always been like that but was printed incorrectly in the manual. Just FYI.
Can't say it wasn't interesting. But... Week three of NCAA Gymnastics is in the books. This early, the rankings look pretty wild. roadtonationals.com/results/…
All scores in for Week 10 of NCAA Gymnastics! We are finally moving into the post-season with conference meets this weekend being the last opportunity for some to qualify to regionals. There are still a handful of spots left, but not many. Good luck to all bit.ly/2D0U3dQ
All scores in for week 9 of NCAA Gymnastics! We are suddenly pretty close to the post-season and as such, we put up the "Regionals Locked" chart today to show which teams will or will not make it beyond the regular season. See: bit.ly/2D0U3dQ
All scores are in for week 7. The women move to the NQS this week, which seems to have produced a somewhat less dramatic shift in the rankings than some years, but still some significant ones. Luckily, both cancelled meets this weekend were able to reschedule for next Monday. :)
All scores in a little early today for Week 6 of NCAA Gymnastics. This is the last week tabulating with a straight average. Next week, things can change quite a bit as we start to use the National Qualifying Score (NQS) for all rankings.
All scores are in for Week 5 of NCAA Gymnastics. The men move to the 3 score average tonight, while the women still wait a couple of weeks before the NQS kicks in.
Here's an interesting one from a request to compile a list of where all the women athletes in NCAA gymnastics come from. This is what was in the system at the time we went through it. The states with the most are CA, TX, and NY, though every state in the union is represented.
All scores in for Week 4 of NCAA gymnastics. The top 8 are comprised of three Pac-12, two SEC, two Big 12, and one Big Ten team. That's kind of fun.
Well, that was a fun weekend :) Interesting to see how things are shaking out this season now that most teams have a few meets in the books. All scores are in for Week 3 of NCAA Gymnastics. bit.ly/3QVHvMh
Rankings are up for week 2 of NCAA Gymnastics. bit.ly/3ZCQ1DI
The GymACT will have 14 teams on the floor at Nationals this weekend. They will be joined for the first time by the Texas Armadillos who will be competing two all-arounders. GymACT is still switching things up and continuing to grow. Pre-meet interviews @ bit.ly/3l2RXTc
