I remember this… because I was in the background, playing drums with the brilliant Jonathan Cohen of Play Away on piano. Lovely to see David Bobin in there too who I worked with at @SkySportsNews many years later. It all sounds rather good… 😃🎵🎹🎸🥁
It's Fern & Fred singing Walking In A Winters Wonderland backed up by Christopher Peacock and Peter Clark in a #Christmas Coast To Coast, 1986. Before a Malcolm Brown voiced trailer
As @usopen gets underway just across the border, here at Niagara Falls🇨🇦, I couldn’t help thinking @Wimbledon must have sponsored the light show. Nice touch…😁
Timed it a bit better today. The beautiful @CWHM Avro Lancaster gave us another salute today on the final day of the 2024 @WorldRowing Championships at St Catharines, Ontario 🇨🇦 #WRCHStCatharines. Luckily I just stepped outside as she flew over😍. @TopLandingGear
Enjoyed the brilliant @alliwalker yesterday at the #megaworldsfanfestival at St Catharines as part of the #WRChamps @WorldRowing in Canada🇨🇦. But can anyone tell me what instrument she is playing here? A clue:🏴👛🪈🪈🪈 The sound was amazing!!!😃👍👍👍
Just managed to snap a shot of the @CWHM 🇨🇦Avro Lancaster overhead as I was commentating live on a race at the #WRChamps @WorldRowing near Niagara Falls. Last saw it in 2014 when it teamed up with the @RAFBBMF Lanc in the UK🇬🇧. Sadly I’ll miss the @rafredarrows here next week.
4 days after @Paris2024 it’s straight over the pond to Canada🇨🇦 for the #WRChamps in beautiful St Catharines, Toronto. A full programme including non-Olympic senior boats, U23s & U19s keeping us ‘mega’-busy for the next week. @WorldRowing @rowingcanada
Me and the people behind me…😅👍👏 @eurosport @WBDsports @Paris2024 @Olympics What a team we’ve been for the past 2-1/2 weeks! @richardcarrtv @tom_d_anderson
It’s been an absolute blast working with these fabulous people on the morning & afternoon teams @eurosport @WBDsports sharing Eurosport1 UK’s🇬🇧hosting duties with @rachelcasey11 🇮🇪@Paris2024🇫🇷 @Olympics . Final day - 19 of 19 - for me. I wonder what’s next …🤔
Tremendous! At least 3 of them came across the line at once… Let’s get it in for #LosAngeles2028 @Olympics

Day 14 of 19 for me covering @Paris2024 for @eurosport @WBDsports. Gymnastics finished yesterday, and whilst our commentators did a brilliant job, this remains my absolute favourite bit of comms from the utterly brilliant @joetracini 🤣
So sad to hear that Graham Thorpe has died at the rage of 55. I was aware that he’d been ill for some time, but this is desperately sad news. I met and interviewed him on many occasions and he was just a delight. Thoughts are with family and friends. @surreycricket @ECB_cricket
Lovely to see a bit of pride and care taken at our stations. Here at the attractive Bodmin Parkway in Cornwall, the old signal box is now a rather splendid buffet, and has been for many years. Love a hanging basket or two. Makes all the difference. 👍👏 @RailwayGreat @GWRHelp
Absolutely love these films with the wonderful Margaret Rutherford. The utterly uplifting and joyful theme music written by the genius Ron Goodwin is just perfect. And agreed … the Fun Boy Three version isn’t bad either!😁
Many congratulations to both of you Colin. This is fantastically happy news. Despite your promises, you’ve still failed to introduce me to Olivia😁. Still hoping. Still waiting. But this is all absolutely glorious👍👏x
In Poznan for @WorldRowing #WRCIII World Rowing Cup III, the final regatta before @Paris2024. Looking forward to calling🎤 some cracking races🚣♀️ from this amazing looking finish tower.
Thank you Chris!
Thought I must have had too much to drink last night...but no turns out I really did hear Turnabout presenter @RobCurling on radio 2's midnight mastermind! Loved watching that before I started school...30 years ago!
