Like most Iowa parents, we want to focus on math and reading, not political agendas from either extreme. And like all Iowans, I want us to get back to having the best public schools in the country.
As governor, I'll fight for Iowa's public schools because my kids are counting on them, too.
Every single person in Iowa is effected by the water quality crisis. But instead of addressing it head on, our elected officials have simply ignored the problem.
From increased monitoring to transparent manure management plans, tax benefits for conservation efforts, and the largest increase in wetlands in state history - we can and should be doing more.
Here are a few of my ideas on how we address it. bit.ly/3OzFKI3

ALT The image shows Rob Sand speaking into a microphone with a small circular inset image of a pond surrounded by trees. The text reads: "Breaking: Rob Sand proposes initiative to improve Iowa's water quality. Sand is calling for new tax credits and increased funding to help farmers improve water quality."
For the town hall tour, the venues were different but the message stayed the same.
There’s a lot of Iowans who, including me, don’t feel like we should have to be forced to pick between the lesser of two evils. people.com/rob-sand-wants-to…
Making people pick between two options on the ballot is less about serving them and more about controlling them.

Harvest is in full swing, so @RobSandIA and I were grateful to all the folks who stopped by the county fairgrounds in Dunlap last week to grab a bite and talk about ag in Iowa. A strong Iowa economy starts with a strong ag economy!
It's pretty simple. I want low taxes, accountability from our elected officials, jail time for anyone who steals from taxpayers, and a balanced budget.
Tag or share with your GOP friends and family for a good listen.
Like me, Caleb from Klemme, is frustrated by our political system. I'm glad he came out to listen to one of our town halls and thankful to have his support. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
When too few people have too much power - they tend to end up serving insiders and special interest groups - not the people they're supposed to represent.
Our political system is broken, & if we want to change anything for the better, we have to stop playing politics & return the focus to public service. My Accountability for All plan is a great place to start.
Term limits, age limits, jail time for taxpayer abusers & thieves, and ending the two-choice system.

Hardworking Iowans from all 99 counties & from across the political spectrum believe in this campaign & are ready for change. This proves it. robsand.com/news/rob-sand-ra…
Iowa needs to get back on track. Ten years of one party control hasn't been serving Iowans.
My priorities are focused on lowering costs, bringing accountability to state government, the cancer crisis, & cleaning up our water. robsand.com/priorities/

Ponzi scammer turned "king" Noah Musingku has reportedly died in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea.
Just two years ago his cult followers were telling me he would reign for a thousand years after making them all trillionaires.
This guy went from running a massive pyramid fraud in the 1990s to establishing his own self-styled kingdom at the center of a remote, war-ravaged Pacific island.
He set up his own banks and printed his own money, and built a devoted following among Western conspiracy theorists and "sovereign citizens".
In the U.S. alone, millions of dollars were lost in frauds linked to Musingku's currency.
One of the only people to put anyone behind bars for it was Rob Sand (@RobSandIA) — then an Iowa prosecutor who is heavy favorite to be elected as the state's Democratic governor next month.

We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Walter, who died last night. This is an extremely sad and devastating time for all who knew and loved him.
Walter was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend to many. His commitment to giving back and making our community a better place will continue to live on through the countless people he touched with Harvest Academy and Character Counts.
Walter lived with mental health complexities. While this is a difficult and painful time for all of us, we know he is now at peace. As we begin the difficult task of making funeral arrangements, we ask that you keep all of us in your prayers and respect our privacy as we grieve. We will share additional information when plans are finalized.
Thanks @IowaStateU for coming out tonight.
19 days until Election Day but you don't have to wait.
