My brand of the week disappeared 50 years ago but is still a fantastic piece of design (in 1956 by Mary de Saulles). Thank you @ucllc for reminding me about this. logohistories.com/p/bea-brit…

The branding process can be seen as a spiral. Surely you have seen fast motion videos about how plants grow. The brand is like this, too: a growing spiral. Plant leaves, DNA, swirls and organic growth of-ten evolve in a spiral. @JenBonhomme

A building to make one gasp at its modernity. The Citroën showroom, Marbeuf, Paris (c. 1929), designed by A. Laprade and L. Bazin, with Jean Prouvé as engineer. The plate glass facade, gloriously displaying five shelf-like floors to show the cars. It was demolished in 1952.

My brand of the week is @revlaundryuk - an automat laundrette I tried the other day. The user experience is well thought through, and the sustainability bit is credible. Not sure how I feel about the radical chic name and the tough typography...

‘For those in the branding business, our conceit tends to be how quickly and gratefully we divorce ourselves from reality.’ Very true, ⁦@pworthington⁩ invencion.com/campaigns/view…
