Ohio made history when it elected its first female Governor ever and its first Democratic Gov in 20 years. But equally important was we broke the Republican Supermajority in the Ohio House, which will give Amy Acton and Statehouse Dems real power in Columbus. We explain it here.

Your @AuroragreenmenC are state champions! Congratulations to our athletes and Coach Bell! What an amazing accomplishment- all of your hard work paid off! Go Greenmen! @ACSD_MH @AHS_DrPach @AHS_SeanBaker @torresv4msu
The signs are all collected, the trunk is cleared of campaign material, and the thank you cards have been sent. Time to “relax” by the fire with new reading material that arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon. 😂 @PortageDems @SCProgDems @summitdems @GeaugaDems @OHSenDemCaucus
Drying out our signs for storage after a raining day yesterday. 😂@PortageDems @GeaugaDems

Democrat @Roberto4Ohio, a former science teacher and school superintendent, also outperformed the 27th Senate District’s index that favored Republicans by less than a percentage point. He won with 54% against Demetriou (R) to replace term-limited Sen. Kristina Roegner (R).
Thank you to EVERYONE for your support! Together, our hard work and genuine concern for the community were able to overcome the misinformation and money directed against our campaign. I am looking forward to this new role as State Senator of D27. 🙂 @PortageDems @OHSenDemCaucus
Closing things out in Kent at the Riverwood polling location. Awesome sunset and transition currently on display. Hope to see folks at the Poll Closing Party this evening. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems @SCProgDems @summitdems @SCYoungDem @OHSenDemCaucus
Great pulling into the Epic polling location in Ravenna and seeing these row of candidate signs (>100 ft of course 😀). You have a little over 3 hours to cast your ballot, so don’t delay though lines have been reasonably all day. 👍 @PortageDems @summitdems @GeaugaDems
What a great idea to provide a little entertainment for those folks waiting in line at the polls. This gentleman was at a poll location in Copley. Love it! @PortageDems @SCProgDems @summitdems @SCYoungDem @GeaugaDems @OHSenDemCaucus
Loved connecting with @JNoahSpinner at the polls in Cuyahoga Falls. He has put in so much time and energy that I had trouble keeping up with him. If we win in Cuyahoga Falls it will be on Noah’s coattails. 😀
The Bainbridge Library polling location has been consistent all morning, but the poll workers have been getting folks in and out quickly. 😀On to Cuyahoga Falls! @PortageDems @SCProgDems @GeaugaDems @OHSenDemCaucus
Starting the morning in Aurora where they have an important bond issue for the schools on the ballot. Also, it was great to see the AFL-CIO and United Steel Workers were out checking to be sure that everyone has access to the polls. 😀. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems @ohioaflcio
Souls to the Polls on Sunday in Ravenna. As we made our way down to the Portage BOE, we saw a line out the door and around the parking lot. Thanks to all those folks voting early and to the Portage BOE employees for working on a Sunday. 👍 @PortageDems @GeaugaDems

Ohio's affordability crisis is rooted in the reality that Ohioans take home pay has not kept pace with the rising costs of everyday essentials. In this week's ICYMI, we acknowledge a Republican who identified that problem & review a damning report about the huge jump in Ohio housing prices.
48 hour reminder! Oh, yeah, and please be sure to vote. 😉😀. @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Out at the Portage County Board of Elections this morning when our next Lt Governor, David Pepper, shows up to say hello, thank folks for voting early, and encourage us all to finish strong. 👍@PortageDems @GeaugaDems
As an educator, I always feel connected with the nurses as we share a common bond of empathy and the importance of caring for others. Thank you for your support! @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
Please stop by after the polls close so Jeff and I can thank you for all your time, work, and support over this campaign season! @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
A big THANK YOU to Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Walters who took time out of his busy schedule to canvass with me last evening in Cuyahoga Falls. His support has been unwavering and very much appreciated. 😀 @PortageDems @GeaugaDems
