NEW VIDEO:
I ramble about Toy Story Physical Media for 22 minutes in this one. It's interesting I promise.

Two things can be true:
-Disney should have made a bigger push for Doctor Who and getting more of the modern show on the platform in advance of the 60th anniversary.
-RTD wrote specials that were IMPOSSIBLE to advertise for the audience they wanted to capture. Lapsed fans-
-in the US couldn’t rewatch the Tennant era on the same platform the new specials were coming out, nor could they catch back up to understand what the Flux was, and the specials hinged on the return of a classic villain that doesn’t even have surviving footage.
No shit they-

“Ryan’s in the X-Force suit! This confirms all the leaks”
The devious Ryan Reynolds in his Denimpool suit:
The fans got Deadpool off the ground so many years ago. Yesterday, 10 years after the first film and exactly 2 years after Deadpool & Wolverine, I felt so lucky to be on the #SDCC floor with everyone whose unapologetic devotion brings so much joy to this world.
Obviously Docter, Stanton, and Bird are the most known “Best Pixar directors”, but Lee Unkrich might possibly have the best resume out of everyone here.
Dude basically only worked on the classics, directed Toy Story 3 and Coco, and now is working on the sequel.
This would have SUCKED so hard.
I am really glad they didn’t take the easy route to emotions with Jessie and Emily in 5, the scene we got was more than enough to serve as a great gutpunch for Jessie’s character
The original ending of ‘TOY STORY 5’ had Emily return as a grandmother and introduce her childhood doll Jessie to her grandbaby.

God damn Pixar, yall NEVER miss with this series.
The bar has always been astronomically high for Toy Story and yet 5, like always, makes it look easy. Equal parts thrilling, hysterical, and gutwrenchingly poinent. Jessie finally gets HER story and the choice feels so natural-
-sequences 25 years later *shouldn’t* work as well as it does but my god they pulled it off.
The gaps between these movies always make it feel like Pixar regained a step that they’ve never *really* lost with this series, but it feels just so good to check up on old friends-
I’m about to go see Toy Story 5. I’m almost certainly going to watch half of the movie through tears.
Can’t wait
