Last week, 5th graders had a blast using Ozobots. I love watching students stay the course, communicate with one another, & use their creativity. Thank you @ProjectReadDISD for providing these opportunities to our students! @DISD_Libraries @LakewoodElement @DrElenaSHill
The library will be open this afternoon for Lakewood Outdoor Learning Area - Gives Back. ❤️❤️ Stop by the library for inspiring books about giving back to our community. See you at LOLA! @LakewoodElement @DISD_Libraries @ProjectReadDISD
Well, this was a great way to begin the day. Compliments of a 1st grade @LakewoodElement Stallion, I’m feeling quite jolly this morning! ❤️❤️😉 @DISD_Libraries @ProjectReadDISD @DrElenaSHill
It’s a beautiful December morning & @LakewoodElement Stallions are ready to find great books after reading (our 4th) @TBABooks of the year. The library is the best place to start the week! ⭐️ @DISD_Libraries @ProjectReadDISD @DrElenaSHill
What a week! Halloween, Book Character Dress Up, & the Texas Rangers won it all!!! Nothing like sharing the fun with a few (900+) of my favorite friends. 🎉❤️🎃 @DISD_Libraries @ProjectReadDISD @DrElenaSHill
It was a Friday frenzy to finish our first @byStickTogether poster of the year. 2nd grade had the honor of completing it this afternoon. Why do I ❤️this? We build a sense of joy & community in the library and all students contribute! 💪 @DISD_Libraries @DrElenaSHill @DASLORG
What a great evening at Library Open House! I’m so grateful for @ProjectReadDISD & for the @LakewoodElement community. Seeing families enjoying our library - and all it has to offer - warmed my librarian heart. The future is bright in @DISD_Libraries. 🌟❤️🎉 @DrElenaSHill

So much fun seeing these @LakewoodElement students engaging in our new experiences tonight at their open house and prospective parent tour! This @DISD_Libraries already received a beautiful upgrade through a partnership between @dallasschools & their community. Librarian @RobinPattillo leads our project there & added new technology experiences like @LEGO_Education We also invested in mobile shelving that not only opened up the space more, but allows flexibility in being able to rearrange the space as needed! @DISDLibrarian @DrElenaSHill @TeamDallasISD
Tomorrow, October 19, is the big day! Join us at Lakewood Elementary for Library Open House from 4:00 to 6:00! 🎉🎉📚❤️❤️@ProjectReadDISD @DISD_Libraries @LakewoodElement @DrElenaSHill @WeAreWoodrowVT
