This now makes so much more sense to me. Rather than reinvent themselves, or deploy new tech in the field, we can truly understand the US shale revolution as being triggered by the release of Excel 2007 and the liberation of executives from spreadsheets.

What is your concern with nuclear and biodiversity loss? Nuclear land use impacts are dramatically lower than any other energy source. Am I missing something?

This UCLA report has many references across the full spectrum of research of gas appliances and air quality. The report focused mainly on indoor air quality from gas cooking, as outdoor air quality is the concern from furnace/water heaters due to venting. ucla.app.box.com/s/xyzt8jc1i…
