Privileged to be able to help tell the great Jack Leslie’s story for @EFL and @itvfootball, as his iconic statue was unveiled at @Argyle this weekend.
A true football pioneer who will never be forgotten 💚

That's it. England have been beaten in the World Cup semi-final thanks to some late Messi and Enzo magic. Tuchel went too early with his defensive subs and on the balance of play, Argentina probably deserved the win. But my word they are an unlikeable team with their antics

What the f*ck is this referee doing? Argentina should have 5 bookings by now. Dirty team going woefully unpunished.

That is the most dramatic, most gutsy, most impressive #england performance I can remember. Fulsome praise for the character and sheer will not to be beaten, against so many odds. That is one that will live very long in the memory of those that were here, and those that stayed up all night at home. Tuchel said he wanted “Karma” for what happened here in the Azteca 40years ago, when the Hand Of God cheated England. Tonight, the Will of Lions prevailed.

Trevor Birch, CEO
Chief Executive Trevor Birch has today informed the Board that he will leave the EFL at the end of the 2026/27 season, having successfully led the organisation through a period of change and sustained growth since taking up the role in January 2021.
Trevor will remain in post throughout next season, working alongside the Board, Clubs and Executive team as plans are put in place for the next phase of the League’s leadership.
Trevor Birch said:
“It has been a privilege to serve as Chief Executive of the EFL. With one more season ahead, my focus is on supporting the League, our Clubs and colleagues, and ensuring a smooth and orderly transition to new leadership.”
EFL Chair Rick Parry said:
“Trevor has led the EFL with clarity and commitment during an important period for the League. The Board is thankful for his contribution and fully supports the approach being taken to ensure an orderly handover and continued stability in the 12 months ahead.”

The lowest,
4/12 played was League One
3/12 played was League Two
