The $24 Billion Plant-Based Meat Scam 🥩
Wall Street tried to reinvent the cow.
They raised billions. They used celebrities. They built meat in a lab.
Now they're bleeding cash, and your great-grandmother is laughing from heaven.
Here’s how the scam fell apart… 🧵

With Farmers under pressure from multiple direction I’ be fascinated to learn why @asda have decided this is an appropriate time to start stocking Uruguayan beef. There is no excuse for this huge betrayal of the UK’s hard working family farms. Consumers and Farmers deserve better

Questioning Keir Starmer in PMQs on farm inheritance tax - and on the EFRA cross-party report calling for a pause.
The PM’s response will be a disappointment to farmers and to many on his own benches, who are convinced that the government should rethink the tax on family farms.

He’s right. After 10-12 years, cos methane is broken down into CO2, entering a carbon cycle absorbed by plants via photosynthesis, converted into cellulose and eaten by livestock and the cycle starts again. The very essence of environmental sustainability.

Not one warm period in history could have been predicted. Not one was caused by carbon dioxide or human culture. CO2 made no difference despite being the source of life & oxygen. Climate is the ceaseless flowing of tectonic plates, volcanoes & ocean currents not fake ideology.

In the last 5 years, and since the appointment of
DEI supremo June Sarpong (280K/yr for a 3 day week) the BBC has discriminated against white people on an industrial scale. Management were told they would get bonuses by meeting 20% quotas. Good experienced people dumped. Others promoted above their abilities.
I've tried to expose this. Now it's official. Hurrah.

You can teach kids how to brush their teeth in school but it’s parents who need to stand with them, twice a day, every single day. I do mine at the same time with my grand daughter when she stays. Not hard - just time. Maybe it’s some parents that need to be brought into school ?

What do you get when a doctor, a farmer and an earth scientist team up to write a book about food’s impact on human and planetary health? 300 pages packed full of lesser known facts and razor sharp insights shedding new light on things you might think you already knew. Fascinating and compelling. A must-read.
