Not only does Yolanda King understand the assignment she has been cultivating it.
Yolanda King gives me hope for the future. Hers will be a pivotal voice in the years to come. She and others will continue to educate the youth on the importance of civic engagement.
We should also take a moment to reflect on Dr. King Jr.’s determination and courage.
Without Dr. King’s leadership, the fight against racial injustice might still be in its infancy stage and the dream for equity and equality further out of reach.
In your reflection, do not shy away from the current troubling events.
We must confront the realities not run from them.
We have a party hell bent on undermining the progress Dr. King fought for.
