80 years ago, WWII ended — but for Roma and Sinti, the genocide of 1.5M lives was nearly erased from history. We honor our victims, our resistance, and thank the UK, US, and Red Army for liberation — in Auschwitz, in Europe, in Prague.

On the 80th anniversary of WWII, we honor Timofey Prokofiev—the only openly Roma Hero of the Soviet Union. Killed in 1944 during the Olshansky Landing, his bravery is a powerful reminder of the diverse heroes who stood against fascism. #WWII80 #RomaHistory #NeverForget
On the 80th anniversary of WWII’s end, the Roma Nation remembers all who fought to defeat German Nazism. We honor the 1.5 million Roma & Sinti murdered in the Porajmos. Never again.

80 years since the end of WWII.
Between 500,000–1.5 million Roma & Sinti were murdered.
Forgotten. Unmarked. Unheard.
We remember them.
With the Jews. With all victims.
