While you keep searching for an $egld narrative... there is only one narrative that matters.
Make $egld great again.

Web3 must be frictionless.
This was the clearest lesson from our involvement at the Sibiu International Marathon. When users were required to install apps or understand blockchain steps, engagement dropped sharply. But when blockchain worked invisibly, with no installations, no signups, no jargon, usage soared. Thousands interacted with Web3 without even knowing it.
9,540 runners. Over 100 causes. Two days. One invisible blockchain.
The Sibiu International Marathon (MIS) is Romania’s largest philanthropic running event. In 2025, it became a real-world demonstration of how invisible blockchain infrastructure can operate seamlessly at scale.
Through VeroPay, the experience extended far beyond the track:
- every runner received an NFC VeroTag bracelet
- with a single tap, participants unlocked rewards, perks, and a fully cashless experience, with no crypto knowledge required
- all interactions were processed live on-chain using the @MultiversX blockchain
What VeroPay enabled at MIS 2025:
- free drink perks for runners during the event
- prize claims using NFC bracelets, handled through six Vero POS terminals at the @xMoney_com booth in Sibiu’s Big Square
- a fully cashless experience at the official Afterparty, supported by five on-site Vero terminals
- instant digital card profiles offered via @DixidCards
@Strava race syncing enabled through @RaceLedger, powered by @GaupaLabs
In total, more than 177 EGLD were distributed instantly to lucky runners. An additional 100 EGLD were donated to a social cause with full transparency.
All of this was achieved with zero friction, zero downtime, and complete blockchain auditability.
Real-time stats: maraton.vero.ro/stats/
On-chain explorer: explorer.vero.ro
This was not a technology showcase. It was practical adoption at scale. The Sibiu Marathon proved that when blockchain becomes frictionless and invisible, it unlocks real-world utility for everyone without getting in the way.
Sincere thanks to the entire @MultiversX, @xMoney_com, @xPortalApp , and MIS teams for their trust and support. Over 9,500 runners participated in a Web3-enabled experience, most without ever realizing it.
Special thanks to @andreiadam : this collaboration between VeroPay and the Sibiu Marathon was only possible because of you.
You were the force behind the scenes, connecting people, solving blockers, and quietly making the impossible look easy.
While others saw smooth execution, we know who made it happen.
Also grateful to @mihschiopu and @JoaquimTirach for your dedication and vision. @stefanescualexx and @maria_naicu: you truly were the goats behind the scenes. And @PopicaDragos you are blessed to grow up with chain adoption in your DNA. Your help during this event meant a lot.
And to our incredible collaborators from the xMoney and MultiversX ecosystem: Cristi, Marius, Alex, Tiberiu, Stelian and many others: this wouldn’t have been possible without you.
This is how the future works. Quietly. Reliably. Invisibly. Powered by blockchain when it matters and invisible when it should be.

We had a great community. The best tech. A clear vision. “Take your time back” resonated
Since then?
Most of the community has left or is fighting
The tech has been equaled by many in the space
The vision? Scrambled and directionless
“Take your money” is the new phrase
My quick thoughts on this.
Our "North-Star" should be:
- Centered around driving **VALUE**; what value does MultiversX give that no other chains / solutions can compete with?
- Easily understood, even by someone as young as a 10 year-old.
- Have conviction to stick with what we agree on, without chasing the newest & shiniest every few months. In other words, the "North-Star" needs to be evergreen.
There will be many ideas. But the absolute key is the distillation process in order to formulate something that satisfies all of the above.
$EGLD #EGLD

The question is why this team is not selling their tokens directly for $USDC and they need to sell first in $EGLD and then in $USDC? People need to understand it.
The reason they sell into $EGLD first is likely because the Foundation helped bootstrap their liquidity with $EGLD. That means to exit, they dump their token into $EGLD, and then $EGLD into $USDC.
It seems to me that not only the community is rugged but also the Foundation. This help was meant to grow the ecosystem, not be cashed out. Am I right?
It's crazy that $EGLD's price is suppressed by constant selling from a grifter team, while the core team is wrongly blamed for the price action.
Some protocols cash out millions by selling their token for $EGLD, then swapping $EGLD for $USDC on DEX and bridging out the $USDC.
This creates constant selling pressure on the DEX. Bots buy cheap on the DEX to sell higher on CEXs, impacting $EGLD market makers on CEXs and maintaining arbitrage sell pressure, giving a bad view for external people looking only at CEX pressure, ignoring the DEX.
It's an ugly death spiral until the selling stops. Hopefully, they'll stop soon so organic buy pressure can reflect in the price without lagging behind market pumps.
Guess who does it for 10 points; provide on-chain proof for 100 points.
A detailed analysis of total $EGLD sold over recent months earns 1000 points.
1 point = 10 $XOXNO
A friendly warning to that team: stop and respect the community that made you rich.

We're beating around the bush, boys 🤣
The token will only be used to raise funds because it's the only way they've found to survive. Nobody wants to put money into equity, so back to retail 🤷♂️
Being multi-chain doesn't justify launching a new token, just like AI functionality or holy governance.
It's a cash grab, wrapped in pretty gift wrap imo.

Not even them believe into mvx anymore lol
And we paid for them to build it.
Actually, they should offer tokens to long term $EGLD holders since we were the ones who paid xPortal developments in the first place.

Let’s go back to where it all started—focus on a strong core team of developers, pay them well, and keep building the protocol. Stop funding side ventures like xPortal or xMoney from the Foundation. Preserve the funds and sell only what’s necessary to sustain development. As for marketing, just engage the community like in the Elrond days—they’ll do the job for you. You don’t need a high-level CMO. Keep it simple. Go back to the basics. @beniaminmincu
Seeing the ongoing selling activity from the #MultiversX Foundation, I have a proposal. Since they need funds to sustain the business, why not remove speculation and make everything fully transparent?
Let’s create an official $EGLD fund for development—an OTC-style exchange where the Foundation sells EGLD for business sustainability. This way, buyers know exactly where the funds are going, and the market can operate with more clarity instead of fear and uncertainty.
I’m not sure about all the legal requirements for this, but could it be done?

You're right, and I’m not against it. My concern arises when money isn’t being used for the benefit of MultiversX. For example, the funds used to acquire Utrust and Twispay, or the money spent on the development of xLaunchpad and xPortal. These projects are owned by Beniamin and Lucian. If they decide to sell these companies, who benefits from the profits? The investors in EGLD? No, they only invested in EGLD to provide funds that the brothers have used for other purposes. While these funds may have been well-invested, they’re for their benefit, not for the direct benefit of MultiversX. Probably I will make a post about all the companies and entities owned by the Mincu brothers, the profits made on those companies and the connections between them. The users are very poorly informed of what’s happening behind the closed doors.

For the ignorant Americans who don't understand what US Aid to Ukraine actually looks like, please read and share this list:
- The vast majority of the military aid we're providing Ukraine comes directly from existing U.S. military stockpiles.
- These weapons aren't brand new; they're mostly older stockpiles that the U.S. military planned to replace anyway.
- The funding approved by Congress actually goes to American companies (like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Boeing) to build new, upgraded weapons for OUR OWN military.
- This helps the American economy:
Supports thousands of American jobs
Strengthens American manufacturing
Ensures our military gets newer, better weapons
- Ukraine gets help against Putin's aggression. From his military's horrific violations against innocent women and children.
- America gets stronger, safer, and better equipped in the process.

After 9/11, NATO's Article 5 was invoked for the first (and only) time ever by the United States.
Troops from the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, Spain, Poland, Norway, Romania, Turkey, New Zealand, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Finland, and many others joined the fight in Afghanistan.
More than one thousand of these soldiers paid the ultimate price.
