The team got @evernorthxrp across the finish line today and we all rang the bell at nasdaq. I have a long blog post coming up, but this is a great step forward for the XRP ecosystem and a way for normies to buy XRP exposure without dealing with wallets. Thanks @bgarlinghouse

We are about to witness one of the biggest disruptions in the history of the telecom and internet industry.
For decades, telecom and internet giants have dominated the industry with limited competition, slow innovation, and increasingly mediocre service.
SpaceX, $SPCX, is about to change that.
This is a clear wake up call to the current giants of the industry.
Evolve or you will be left behind.

Ripple “has emerged as a serious player in providing swap financing to leveraged ETFs”…
Explosive growth of leveraged & highly concentrated ETFs, which rely on swaps for exposure, is bringing new counterparties into the fold.
Like Ripple.
Lucrative business if you’re properly setup to manage it (& its associated risks).
Expect more “alternative” swap counterparties as balance sheets get tapped out on traditional options.
That’s how fast this corner of ETFs is growing.

Personal AI is going to be hugely important, and it works best when it knows everything about you. That's exactly what you shouldn't hand to a platform whose business depends on it.
Wrote up why the version that wins is one you own.

A CONFESSION
I talk to a minimum of 20 folks that work at the top 4 large AI companies daily. We help each other.
I have never seen a group so in rage of the “pace AI” games.
They are driven scientists and engineers and many work 18 hour days to build.
They wake up one day and see “I agree, let’s pace”, it is soul crushing.
THEY SEE NO DANGER AND THEY BUILD AI.
My confession: One reason I, and so many, have taken a clear public position is to give these folks a voice. They are a silent majority who build and just want to do good work.
They need thier jobs and were told they better shut their mouths if they like to pay their bills.
The pressure they are under is frightening. Many must act like old Mao style struggle sessions when their Effective Altruist bosses test them on “alinement” views. Thusly we all built a small AI model that spits out approved doomer prose for the cult. It is now in use by a few hundred. They will spit out Bostum Paperclip Maximizer garbage like a champ.
Last night over 30 of us from all companies had a group chat and you will begin to see the largest immune system rejection anonymously.
Some already see their years of work burning down because of fools as leading executives. They did not sign up to these polycules, they are fine scientist and engineers who now are grown up and have families. They matured but their bosses still think it’s grid night at the group home cosplay.
So don’t get made at the vast majority of these amazing and brilliant folks who actually make these amazing AI products. Get mad at the manipulation system that puts these freaks at the top, and know they were put there.
So I will continue to do my best to give voice—effectively—for my friends who can’t speak.
What we have done to ourselves as a supposedly modern species will make the future laugh.
In all seriousness say a prayer for these folks stuck in this nightmare. I do.
Gavin Baker and a16z's David George on the state of the AI boom:
The future doesn't have to be winner-take-all. Labs, open-source, applications, and the clouds can all capture value.
Demand for intelligence is still dramatically underestimated. Today's power users number in the millions and will grow to hundreds of millions. Gavin and David argue a compute shortage is a more real risk than an AI bubble, and building through it is an opportunity to reindustrialize America.
In this episode, they get into why compute investments pay back so fast, what the data center backlash gets wrong, the case for putting compute in orbit, why enterprises will run several models at once, and how Nvidia ended up at the center of the entire supply chain.

Evernorth, the XRP DAT, pushes forward
Progress update from us on our proposed public listing: "Evernorth Strengthens Positioning for Public Investors as It Advances Toward Nasdaq Listing"
The quick read: Based on current XRP prices, fewer shares are expected to be issued at closing against the same XRP treasury, meaning more XRP behind every share. Every one of our advance funders signed on to get there.

The market is misjudging AI data companies. We are trying to analyze a shift in human knowledge through an old software lens.
Frontier labs spend close to $1 billion a year each on human data. The annual market is already $10 billion.
@HelloSurgeAI crossed $1 billion in revenue while remaining bootstrapped.
@mercor is discussing a $20 billion valuation. @Meta paid $14 billion for half of @Scale_AI.
For decades, tech budgets targeted productivity. Software automated tasks. Today, companies buy intelligence.
This requires a completely new supply chain. The main input is human judgment turned into structured data. @aliansarinik at @micro1_ai estimates this opportunity at $1 trillion annually because it measures a core input to the economy.
The big question is who buys this infrastructure next.
The first wave is robotics. Language models grew on a free internet text subsidy. Robots have no equivalent. No archive shows a machine how to fold laundry. Every physical action must be captured and structured by hand.
The second wave is enterprise agents. Traditional software testing cannot validate a probabilistic system. Engineers cannot write a standard test script for an agent in a dynamic corporate workflow. Humans must define the failure modes and build the evaluation datasets.
At @Flybridge, we saw this pattern early. When we backed @Arcee in 2023, they built a platform to train small models inside a customer private cloud. The market ignored it then. Most thought everyone would just query a central model.
We believed corporations would demand models they could own and inspect. @SatyaNadella noted that companies using external models pay twice, once with cash and once with proprietary data.
Today, private model deployment is standard. The buyer base is scaling from 10 labs to over 1000 corporations. They all need private data loops.
Skeptics see tech-enabled staffing agencies with thin margins and high customer concentration. But concentration is normal for early infrastructure. The first buyers of cloud computing were a small group of high-growth startups. The market diversified later.
Margins also grow as the work moves up the stack. Basic labeling is cheap. Providing reinforcement learning environments and custom reward models generates software-like returns.
The moat is operational execution. Building that muscle takes years.
The long-term path relies on what the micro1 research team calls the no last mile framework. Better models do not eliminate the need for human input. They unlock more complex tasks. Each new tier of automation requires human judgment to supervise the next layer.
Human expertise is becoming a primary input to the global economy.
If you are a founder building infrastructure in this category, let us know.
I would love to chat.

Today we share the worldview behind our mission.
Human values don't average out. Local knowledge can't be centralized. The good future has many AIs, raised in different places, shaped by the people they serve, disagreeing with each other the way we do.
