For the first time, anyone holding crypto anywhere in the world can donate directly to Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
Site: nepalrelief.org/
The last few weeks have been devastating. The scale of what my country lost is still being counted, and a lot of people are still without homes.
What kept happening through all of it was people across crypto reaching out, asking where they could send money. I did not have a good answer for them. There were places collecting, but no way to take crypto and actually get it into the government's relief fund as rupees, and it kept eating at me that the will to help was there and the rails were not.
So I started building for it. Once word got out, teams and ecosystems started reaching out wanting to help, and it turned out everyone was sitting on the same problem. Together we could do it at a scale none of us could alone.
@solana , the ecosystem I work in and represent here, has already contributed $167,000 through the pfp takeover.
Now it is open to everyone. Any token, any chain, individuals or foundations. It moves in crypto and lands as local currency in the relief fund. This is the future of finance.
This is what stablecoins were built for. Money getting to people while it still counts.
Nepal is home. Doing this alongside fellow Nepalis and getting to give something back to our own country is a kind of pride nothing else comes close to.
@SuperteamNPL and I are proud that we could help make this happen, and I hope you join in.

blockchains was and will be the infrastructure where finance runs on
Depending on who you talk to, our industry growing up is either doom or glory.
We are finally globally relevant and that necessarily means we are less insular.
Because this industry was created by the stubborn resolute and unwavering conviction of contrarians, misfits, and fringe actors, we relished in the pirate mindset. We loved our insularity. (Tbh, I miss it too at times).
The “web3” thesis where programmable blockchains are supposed to be decentralized computing infrastructure for many apps ultimately incinerated billions of dollars of venture capital because it led tech minded builders and their investors to prioritize app sovereignty over unified liquidity. This was wrong on first principles.
As it turns out, blockchain has and always will be financial infrastructure. Finance superpowered by tech and programmability. Decentralization, neutrality, and censorship resistance have never been more important.
Whether this excites you going forward depends on whether you’re more west coast or east coast; San Francisco or New York; more tech or finance minded.
From the west coast crowd, I often hear disappointment (“oh in the end blockchain is only about finance?! That’s it?”)
I couldn’t be more excited, and I think the mandate has never been more clear and also attainable.
Capital formation isn’t an abstract thing that bankers do when you are ready to IPO.
Capital formation enables innovation. It allows us to take big bets on the future. Liquid markets enable capital formation. Over the long term, there can not be a larger global capital market than the internet capital market. The biggest market to possibly unify is that of people on the internet who use money.
Like all things the internet has ever touched, the online/onchain experience is never the same as the pre internet experience. Just as we needed network engineers to imagine and build blockchain networks, we need consumer tech minds to complement finance minds to deliver new ways of accessing finance.
This is not and has never been a small vision for blockchain. In fact, I would argue that it’s a core intent of a “peer to peer electronic cash network.”
We welcome those who want to double down on finance for the internet to come join the Solana ecosystem and make good on this mission.
I think it’s fine and even great that the risk-on talent from blockchain is now expanding new frontiers away from blockchain. New frontiers are only ever explored by those with stubborn resolute unwavering conviction.

Meet Rex and Kix. 👋
Rex has been taking trading calls from random Telegram groups. Kix thinks it's time he tried something better.
That's where Kronix comes in.
We're building a marketplace where traders like Rex can discover strategies from professional quants, check their performance, and choose which ones to follow.
Here's Rex getting his first introduction to Kronix. 👀

Markets used to have one floor.
Now every perp venue is its own app.
Kaash tears down the walls.
Every perp venue. One app.

lots of you probably won’t understand half of this diagram
which is also a pretty good explanation for why v3 is taking longer than expected lol
this is what i’ve been building behind the scenes
tipansem v3 is basically turning into an entire reward routing system

There’s a distribution problem in systematic trading.
A quant can spend months building a strategy, but getting it in front of traders often means building an entire product around it or revealing more than they want to.
At the same time, traders looking for systematic strategies are left comparing signals, screenshots, bots and scattered performance claims with very little context.
Kronix gives professional quants a way to keep their strategy logic private while building a track record.
Traders get a place to discover those strategies, understand how they’ve performed, allocate capital and automate the ones they want to follow.
A good strategy should be able to reach more people without the quant giving away the playbook.
and @SuperteamNPL is a cheatcode for me.
"Join your local Superteam. It’s a cheat code.”
@solquicks on how @Superteam accelerates a Solana builder’s journey
thats the fundamental thing i always observe when i speak to other superetams
what builders in one region believe and are motivated to solve a specific array of problems is so diverse in every region
not just that, but what superteams focus on in different markets is also very regionally niche in their meanings of KPIS
this all together brings a globally diverse set of builders, founders, and users to the @solana chain that no other chain can replicate (many have tried)
superteam.
