College coaches: Go watch Will Hegwood.
He impacts winning far beyond the stat sheet. Already our school’s all-time career assists leader, he defends his tail off, makes great ball-screen reads, and scores when needed. If you want a winner, go watch Will.
We had a great night celebrating Joe Taylor signing with Purdue Northwest. Joe graduated our all time leading rebounder and we can’t wait to watch his continued development. @Joe_Taylor24 @PNWBasketball

A point forward, good passer from the top of the key ✔️
Good screener ✔️
Good rebounder ✔️
Lots of fouls ✔️
A few technical fouls ✔️
Trevor nailed it.
He did forget about the shattered backboard at Perry Meridian during our sectional practice.
"Point forward is basically what I played."
Iowa offensive lineman Trevor Lauck jokes that he might be ready to hoop for Ben McCollum. At 6'5", 310 pounds, he details his basketball game.
Screens, rebounding, and passing are his specialty.

The Royals close the regular season w/ a 77-49 win. We head into the postseason with a 14-7 record. Tonight, Conner Kesler leads us with 24 pts. Luke Feldman added 17. Joe Taylor had 15 pts and added 9 more rebounds to his school record. Hegwood chipped in 11 and 5 assists.
Congrats to our big man, @Joe_Taylor24, on his commitment to Purdue Northwest. Joe has been on an uphill trajectory for a long time and we think his best basketball is in front of him. We’re excited to watch him at the next level, but first, a long postseason run for the Royals.
Thank you God for giving me the ability to play the game I love. I’m excited to announce my commitment to Purdue Northwest! Thanks to Coach Ashton and Coach Greenberg for this opportunity! @PNWBasketball @RoncalliHoops
Conner has helped us get off to a 11-5 start. He’s a strong, competitive guard and we’re hoping we get to coach him deep into postseason play.

#NewProfilePic. Nice win over Perry tonight, 72-47. The Royals were led by Will Hegwood and Luke Feldman both with 16 points. Joe Taylor chipped in with 15 points, and Conner Kesler with 13 points. The highlight of the night, As you can see in the picture, BC with a big corner 3!
Franklin Central came in and beat us tonight, 65-60. It’s our job to learn, get better, get tougher. We’ll get it done.
The Royals coming home from Jeffersonville 58-53 winners. @Joe_Taylor24 leads the team with 17 points and 10 rebounds. @connerkesler_2 with 12 and played a great defensive game. GRITTY, TEAM win. Going into ‘26 6-0 and filled with gratitude.
Big win at Chatard, 75-49. @connerkesler_2 leads us with 18 points. @luke_feldman10 and @Joe_Taylor24 each with 14.
Come see us tomorrow at Beech Grove.
The boys make it 3-0 with a 76-52 win at Perry. @luke_feldman10 leads the team in scoring with 23. @connerkesler_2 adds 20. @Joe_Taylor24 with 12. Play of the game comes when @lbake007 dives for the loose ball, makes the pass from his back side to Joe Taylor for a two hand dunk.
We got our season started last night with an 81-55 win over Shortridge. @connerkesler_2 led the team in scoring with an efficient 28 points (career high). @luke_feldman10 also with a career high 22. @JoeyOrtman_13 chipped in 14 and @Joe_Taylor24 had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
As the basketball seasons get started at all levels, we would like to wish good luck to our alums that are coaching college and professional basketball.
We are very proud of these guys and will be rooting hard from the south side.
Another offer for Conner Kesler.
Someone going to get a really good guard.
