Paddy Joe set for London launch of new book this evening. Main event next Friday in the @Abbeyros irishpost.com/entertainment/…

The amazing story of a unique character. 👏👏👏

RTE cameras zooming in on a visibly distressed Galway hurling 'keeper after his mistake in today's Leinster final is very poor stuff. The camera continued to stay on him as he looked inconsolable. Absolutely no need. The RTE producer needs to have a hard look in mirror. @RTEsport

Paddy Joe Burke modelling a class jersey he received as a gift on his retirement! 🇺🇦

Very best wishes to the great Rossie, Paddy Joe Burke who retires from his famous barber shop today in Roscommon Town after an amazing 52 years in business. 🇺🇦

Very best of luck to our Roscommon Rose, Rachel Hastings from Ballyforan, who will be live on TV this evening for the second night of the Rose of Tralee selection final. Best wishes to Tulsk native and London Rose Glenna Mannion who will be appearing on stage as well this evening.

Three years ago today, August 15th 2021, the late Conor Connelly, who had both strong Roscommon and Offaly connections, was fittingly remembered before the All-Ireland U-20 Final with a moment's silence in Croke Park.

👏👏👏

Anyone spot a good Rossie in the background? And not a bad hurler in his day as well.👍

Absolutely delighted for Tony Kelly. Stood up for big moments today with outrageous skill. Heroes all on that pitch on both sides. What a game we witnessed.#gaa

A game for the ages but the @TheSundayGame production today has been an utter mess. Irish language commentary very good but running it over the usual panel of studio guests which we can't hear! Bizarre!#gaa

Irish commentary has been very good but @TheSundayGame production today has been awful. Showing footage of Joanne Cantwell and panel with unrelated Irish commentary is bizarre. Two teams of pundits, one Irish language and one English language footage with no sound. Utter mess.

Great news! Hearty congrats to Diarmuid and Seanna!

It's coming home.👍

Pic of that great Roscommon team taken just before the 1991 All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Meath at Croke Park. Despite a fine Ros display, Meath shaded the game by a single point, 0-15 to 1-11. It was the last time a Roscommon team appeared in an All-Ireland SFC semi-final.

All-Ireland SFC semi-final, Croke Park, August 10th 1980 FT: Roscommon 2-20, Armagh 3-11 This victory marked the last time we won a championship game at Croke Park. A lot of legends on both teams that day!
