Thorns in the Roses

If there is one thing I hope everyone takes away from Morren Den, it is this: Do not be afraid to mourn. Do not be afraid to miss someone. Do not be afraid to cry for the lives that have passed, or to feel the weight of an empty space where someone once stood. Because we don't just lose someone in death; sometimes a chapter just simply closes. But do not forget to smile either. Remember the funny stories. Remember the silly arguments. Remember the meals shared, the songs sung, and the moments that seemed insignificant until they became memories. And when you look upon the flowers laid at the graves of those who came before you, remember that they are not simply symbols of loss. They are symbols of gratitude that someone lived, gratitude that their paths crossed yours, gratitude that you were given the chance to know them, love them, and carry their memories forward. For the same ground that receives the fallen petals will one day welcome new blossoms. And those blossoms will be just as deserving of love, care, and celebration as the ones that came before them. Morren Den is not a celebration of death because we wish for life to end. It is a celebration of death because we understand how beautiful life is, a celebration of the beginning, the middle, and the end. It is a celebration of everything that has been, everything that is, and everything that is yet to come. So, this Morren Den, light a lantern for someone you miss, plant a flower for someone you remember, and share a story with someone you love. And when the festival comes to an end, do not leave its meaning behind. Love deeply, live kindly and loudly, cherish what you have, and when your time comes to return to the soil, may the world be a little more beautiful because you were here. For the past year, you've mainly known me to be loud and for my music, but there's another form of storytelling that I'm very passionate about that I haven't yet shared. The "Ava's Day Off" voice pack and the "Run." stream were just small tastes of how I want to share even more with you all through audio. For me, storytelling is all about the experience, and this is another way I want to share that. I’ve spent the past couple of months prepping for my patreon’s so that way you guys are getting these full experiences at a quality I’ve always wanted to deliver to you. Outside of music, you’ll start to see more audios and roleplays appear more often. I won’t call them ASMR, but more of an auditory adventure! It’s taken me awhile to be able to do this for a lot of reasons (I’m a traumatized dragonoid, yk? Cairon took a lot from me), but I’m ready to share my stories again in more ways even if it’s going at my own pace.
