Future healthcare professionals at work! Our kinder scientists @NISDBraunStat are exploring health careers by creating their own doctor bags and using snap cubes to measure medical tools. They’re learning that STEM is everywhere even in a doctors office. @NISDSTEMLabs

Kinder bobcats @NISDBraunStat are ready to explore health careers so they see the opportunities @NISDHobbyHealth offers our @NISD students. Today they are explored: tools, “medical tracing” , sorting medical “term” and got to treat a few “pets” next week- germs!

Owls @NISDOHT are soaring in @NISDSTEMLabs STEM this week! After reviewing safety and expectations we BUILT our names and upper grades got to share my experience in zip lining this past summer. Taking STEM to new heights this year is our goal… literally 🤩

Owls @NISDOHT are in training to be disaster relief roboticists @TAMUEngineering. We learned what kind of robots are used and then they designed a robot to help clear debris paths. a dog was saved in our exercise 🧐@NISDSTEMLabs

Gas prices are increasing as much as 5th graders knowledge about alternative fuel options. Checkout our 5th graders @NISDBraunStat and @NISDOHT - they got to see hydrogen part ways from oxygen for a brief bit to understand how hydrogen fuel cells work.

Our bobcats @NISDBraunStat made a “gruesome 6-7” germ discovery in our health career study. lab technicians identify germs that allow doctors to prescribe the right medication- now that we found the notorious 6-7 germ we plan to eradicate it from all schools 😆😎
