Every weekend, they leave it all on the ice and then one day, it stops
Why do players retire? How do you walk away from something that's been your life? What happens when the final buzzer sounds?

Congratulations to @blackburnhawks on winning the North Playoffs.
Hard one for @billinghamstars. Need to pick themselves up for the national final against a Stretham side what also had a disappointing playoff weekend.
The North has been very entertaining this season!!

Never miss the opportunity for former jnr milestone. This is one of the biggest.
First game, first goal, first tilt… the journey is always real. Can’t not be there for the full stop to end a good story!
Enjoy your night @RossMurray27
👏👏👏
Last senior @SolwaySharks game tonight for one of the original Sharks Jnrs in @RossMurray27
Get down and give him the send off he deserves in what will be his 400th senior game.
A coach and teammates type of lad, enjoy the golf course and family time Peanut 👏👏👏

I've been blown away with messages today! I will try and reply to them all, but honestly, thank you it means the world to me. It was a hard decision to make, but I feel the time is right. Get yourself along on Saturday so I can thank you to your face. @SolwaySharks
