So it turns out that about 64% of South Africans still want the ANC in power. The only changes are that (based on current projections) 42% want the bit that's owned by Ramaphosa, 13% want the bit that's owned by Zuma, and 8% want the bit that's owned by Malema.

Good point made by RW Johnson: the ANC started with around 2/3rds support and if you add up 2024's ANC, MK and EFF (the three factions of the original ANC) you get about 2/3rds support again.

European murder rates are at their lowest in 30 years. Europe is safer now than in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Even Sweden is at 2000-2010 levels.
