Big Dreams Are Not Enough Over two days at the @FitspaUG 8th Annual Fintech Conference 2026, held at Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Courtesy of @paytota but one lesson stood out: growth is not just about what we build, but how we collaborate, execute and create opportunities for others. One highlight was the keynote by @KenNjorogeCG , CEO of PANI Africa, who shared lessons from building Cellulant through challenging moments. His story of a team tasked with deploying a digital platform across 35 countries in 90 days, but delivering in just 40, was a powerful reminder of what urgency, teamwork and decisive execution can achieve. Three leadership lessons I took away: 📌Build bridges, not silos. Great ideas achieve more when we collaborate and bring others along. 📌Make innovation inclusive. Success is not just about growing businesses; it is about creating opportunities for people, especially underserved communities. 📌Invest in people. Behind every ambitious vision are people whose resilience, commitment and execution turn ideas into reality. These lessons resonate deeply with me where I believe leadership goes beyond titles. It is about building people, creating opportunities and developing systems that outlive us. My biggest takeaway? Dream boldly. Build collaboratively. Execute decisively. Invest in people. Thank you to FITSPA, the speakers, partners and participants for two days of insightful conversations about the future of Uganda’s digital economy. A question to reflect on: Are your actions today matching the ambition of your dreams? #FITSPA2026 #Leadership #Fintech #BusinessDevelopment #YouthLeadership
