THE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS HAVE FINALLY PAID OFF!
Ladies and gentlemen, RC Mbarara Ranchers is officially qualified to apply for grants.
Do you understand what this means? After all the follow ups, paperwork, checking, rechecking and those ‘are we there yet?’ moments, WE MADE IT!!
A HUGE congratulations to our Impact President, Rtn. Vicent Musinguzi, our hardworking Grants Officer, our AG and every Rancher who played a part in making this milestone possible.
AND WE DIDN’T STOP THERE…..
Almost immediately after qualifying, WE WON OUR FIRST GRANT.
And guess what? We are going GREEN. Our very first grant focuses on the environment and we couldn’t be more excited about the impact ahead.

WHEN OUR PARTNERS SHOW UP FOR THE COMMUNITY, THE RANCHERS SHOW UP TOO!!
On Thursday, 15th October, our Platinum Sponsor, EBO Financial Services @ebosacco, took service to the community through a medical camp, and of course, the Ranchers were right there to show some love.
Because for us, Rotary is more than meetings, fellowship and taking pictures together. It is about showing up, supporting one another and being part of something bigger than ourselves.
We were proud to stand alongside EBO as they made a difference in the community. Every helping hand, every interaction and every effort towards better health is a reminder of what happens when we come together for good.
To our Platinum Sponsor, EBO Financial Services, thank you for putting service into action and for being part of the impact!
United in service. Stronger in partnership. Creating impact, one community at a time!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, ROTARY FAMILY!!
From the Pearl of Africa, with love from your favourite Ranchers…..
Today, we celebrate the freedom we enjoy, the beautiful country we call home and the people who make this home worth loving.
Honestly, what would Uganda be without its people? The laughter, the warmth, the kindness, the ka small small drama and the people who can turn a simple meeting into a whole event.
To our dear Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, Friends of Rotary, Sponsors and Partners, thank you for being part of a community that reminds us that service is not just about what we do, but also about the people we do it with.
May we continue to serve with love, celebrate one another, build friendships that outlive our Rotary titles and make a difference in the communities that have given us so much.
And as we enjoy our Independence Day, please remember; we are free citizens, but some of us are still not free from Rotary WhatsApp groups, committee assignments, and those *Good evening, team…* messages.
wish you a beautiful, joyful and blessed Independence Day.
May Uganda continue to shine, may our communities thrive and may the Rotary spirit in us never lose its fire.
United in friendship. Committed to service. Proud to call Uganda home.

TEA, TALES & A LITTLE BIT OF CHAOS!!
And just like that, another Tea & Tales edition is in the books.
Our Diaspora Ranchers got together for their usual dose of catching up, chilling, laughing and pretending we are all very well behaved adults.
This time, we had even more company. We were joined by fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors and guests, and honestly… the vibes were immaculate.
Then came the serious games.
And by serious, we mean Never Have I Ever, because apparently that was the best way to expose people’s life choices.
Darius was the star of the evening. The man took so many shots that at some point we stopped laughing and started getting concerned. Darius, are you okay?
There was plenty of laughter, plenty of banter, and the kind of evening that reminds you that fellowship doesn’t always need a boardroom, a project report or an agenda. Sometimes, we just need good people, good tea and questionable games.
And because we cannot let a gathering pass without celebrating someone, we also celebrated our very own Philemon.
The birthday boy came, smiled, celebrated… and somehow confirmed exactly why half of his hair is missing.
More laughter. More games. More stories. More questionable revelations.
A big thank you to our amazing sponsor, Anthea, for always supporting Tea & Tales, and to our wonderful host, Elaine, for welcoming us once again to our usual headquarters, Athos Treats.
Tea & Tales is here to stay, and every month promises another reason to show up.
So if you missed this one… please don’t make the same mistake twice.
See you at the next Tea & Tales!!!!

FRIDAY HAS ENTERED THE CHAT!
As usual, the Ranchers have clocked out of the serious business of the week and reported for the very important business of unwinding.
Because honestly, what is better than membership engagement that turns into genuine friendship? You join Rotary for the service, stay for the fellowship… and somehow end up with people who know way too much about your life.
This is what happens when we get together; good people, loud laughter, endless banter and friendships that go way beyond the badge.
No agenda. No minutes. No action points.
Just Ranchers being Ranchers.
Happy Friday from the Ranch!
Membership engagement: 9/10.
Friendship: Very dangerous levels.

MONDAY HAS A MONEY DATE!
We are moving from saving to investing, because keeping money under the mattress is not exactly the financial strategy we had in mind.
The Impact President, Rtn. Vicent Musinguzi @muvicent1 and members of the Rotary Club of Mbarara Ranchers invite you to an evening of learning, conversation and a little financial awakening with Rtn. Kiconco Kukundakwe.
We are talking Unit Trusts, financial literacy and making our money work a little harder than we do.

TODAY, WE RAN FOR MORE THAN JUST THE RUN.
Cancer has touched almost every one of us in one way or another.
Maybe it was a parent, sibling or relative.
Maybe a friend.
A colleague.
Or someone very close to a person we love.
It may not always be someone in our immediate family, but somehow, cancer has found its way into all our stories.
And today, Ranchers chose to run for those stories.
From Mbarara and different parts of Uganda, Ranchers showed up; some running, some walking, some probably questioning halfway through why they had agreed to this particular form of exercise.
But we kept going.
And what made today even more special was that this wasn’t just a Ranchers affair. Rotarians, Rotaractors and their families from across Uganda came together for one common cause; to raise awareness, support the fight against cancer and remind those affected that they are not alone.
Different clubs.
Different towns.
Different stories.
One cause.
Today, we ran together. We laughed together. We sweated together. We cheered each other on. And for a few kilometres, we reminded ourselves that service can be as simple as putting on a vest, showing up and saying:
This one matters.
To every Rancher who travelled, ran, walked, cheered, supported, bought a kit or simply showed up, thank you.
Because every step counts.
Every contribution counts.
Every conversation about cancer counts.
And yes… our legs may have a different opinion tomorrow.
But today, we ran for a cause that is bigger than all of us.
