Oh, this is the same guy that generated an entire SM64 ROMhack with Claude Opus. It's uh, interesting. The UI and cutscenes are actually kind of good, but the level design is unbearably atrocious. Guess we're doing Mario 64 AI content farms now!

I put all of Minecraft inside Mario 64. I've been working on this mod basically non stop for two months, but I guess super grok can do it in a weekend now or something.

I don't think people fully understood my last post, so I'm making a follow-up. It isn't just a plain cylinder collider; It does a SM64-style floorcast using cylinder contacts reported by the physics engine. Notice how the origin point neatly lines up with the slope?
I hate how pill colliders for platformers are industry standard. In my opinion, the player's origin point should never sag below the floor. So, I've devised my own Godot "Cylinder-based Footing" character controller that combines the benefits of both capsules & cylinders.

Modding Ocarina of Time feels like New Game +. It's a completely different engine (No, it was never forked from SM64), so you have to spend time learning another game's systems. However, F3D & C programming knowledge carries over from Mario 64, so you're not a total noob.

Is it just me, or has the public perception of indie games become a lot more hostile as of late? Seems like I see a lot of anti-indie sentiment here and on YouTube. Maybe it'd be best if I stuck to making ROM hacks...
