Because of a withdrawal of 1 club with a very large entry, the regatta is open for entries again. Entries close tomorrow at 11pm.

It's a World Best Time and Paralympic qualification for the PR2 mixed double scull (PR2 Mix2x) of Lauren Rowles (@RowBrum) and Gregg Stevenson (@AgecroftRC) and they absolutely SMASH their first race of the #WorldRowingChamps 🔥
We'll see them race again in their A Final 💪

Great to see athletes from @RowBrum and @worcesterrowing in the squad.

So @BhamCityCouncil @UKHSA_WestMids is this allowed then? I presume its owner doesn't have a stock of antivirals at home.

But thanks to you alas not @RowBrum regatta next month. This was a grassroots sporting event though and presumably @BrumLeader @politicalhackuk about those, or the damage done to the finances of the club hosting.

#rowing and #sailing on the waters in Edgbaston Reservoir. It's a shame that when you know it's safe and we know it's safe that @BhamCityCouncil say that the 1 ft they own is "highly polluted".

Day 65 and you still maintain that 320000 gallons of water in a reservoir is "highly polluted" when you have no evidence for this, you have not measured it, you cannot measure it and have no risk assessment #unscientific #irrational #unfair

Does it have a section dealing with how to deal with an irrational local authority such as @BhamCityCouncil who are working their hardest to shut you down? #AskingForAFriend
It's a struggle to retain volunteers when you cannot go out. We are very, very far from happy at @RowBrum

Here is Edgbaston Reservoir. Its area is 230,000 square metres and it is, in places, 12 metres deep. Yet @BhamCityCouncil @BrumLeader and @politicalhackuk ludicrously describe it as a "pool" in justification of their absurd and unique decision to ban @RowBrum & @MidlandSailing
Birmingham Rowing Club retweeted
Here are anglers enjoying the sunshine @CanalRiverTrust yet it's exactly the same water that @BhamCityCouncil have banned them from. Where's the logic @BrumLeader @politicalhackuk? The only logic is that the council is run by those who panic about nothing.

How do we get the council to see sense and stop over-reacting about the practically zero risk of avian flu? Asking for friends at @RowBrum and @MidlandSailing
Of course if they had a risk assessment they would already know this.

Dear @WaseemZaffar perhaps you could ask @BrumLeader why he is forcing @RowBrum members to do an 60 mile round trip in order to row when there is a perfectly safe facility at Edgbaston Reservoir. Not particularly green, eh?
