Had a great time speaking at the @MACathletics Leadership Event at Tallmadge High School, where I had the opportunity to encourage more than 450 student-athletes from across Northeast Ohio. A huge thank you to Commissioner Chris Pavlik, Principal @THSMr_Horner Athletic Director Madison Horrigan, the administration, and the entire Tallmadge team for the invitation and for making leadership development a priority. One of the biggest messages I shared was this: Winning isn’t just about what you accomplish, it’s about who you’re becoming. We talked about fighting through adversity, building resilience when life doesn’t go your way, and remembering that the challenges you’ve already overcome are evidence that you’re stronger than you think. I also challenged the students to be intentional with their decisions, especially on social media. One careless post can have lasting consequences, while one wise decision can protect opportunities you’ve worked years to earn. Your reputation is built long before anyone hands you a scholarship, a job, or a position of leadership. Finally, I reminded them that leadership isn’t reserved for captains or seniors. Leadership is a daily decision to serve others, choose integrity when no one is watching, and make the people around you better. Thank you again to everyone who made this event possible. Investing in high school student-athletes beyond the scoreboard is one of the best investments we can make in the future of our communities. Had an awesome time speaking at the @NorthValley1904 Client Appreciation Event! Huge thank you to CEO Jim Nicholson and the entire North Valley Bank team for the opportunity to share with such an outstanding group of clients, partners, and community leaders. One of my most important talking points was: Remember the things that didn’t stop you. Every challenge you’ve overcome is evidence that you’re stronger than you sometimes give yourself credit for. Don’t forget your own resilience. I also talked about remembering that YOU MATTER! Your presence, your leadership, your encouragement, and the way you treat people every day leave an impact far greater than you may ever realize. Thank you again to North Valley Bank for creating an event that invests not only in business relationships but in the people behind them. Keep leading. Keep serving. Keep fighting through it. Fight Through It: The Battles, Breakthroughs, and Beauty of Becoming Resilient Enough to Never Give Up is available now at FightThroughIt.com, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.

It was an absolute honor to speak at the SEL Schools Family Fun Day and celebrate not only an incredible community, but 100 years of Brush High School. A place that helped shape the person I am today. Seeing hundreds of families, students, alumni, educators, and community members come together was a beautiful reminder that schools don't just educate students, they build communities, create lifelong relationships, and shape future generations. Thank you to Superintendent Dr. Kaple and Maleeka Bussey for the invitation and for organizing such an outstanding event. Your commitment to the South Euclid-Lyndhurst community is evident, and it was an honor to be part of the celebration. S/O to my brother Corey Morrow for kicking off the day with an incredible 5K that brought the community together from the very beginning. It was also awesome to watch so many talented student groups showcase their gifts throughout the day, from the Brush Marching Band, Cheerleaders, Jazz Effect, Orchestra, Chorale, the Rollin' All-Stars, and the Sunview Chorus. You all represented SEL with excellence and pride. Thank you to every volunteer, vendor, sponsor, staff member, and family who helped make the day such a success. Community isn't built by one person, it's built by people who consistently choose to show up for one another. I'm proud to call South Euclid-Lyndhurst home, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue pouring back into the community that poured so much into me.

What a PERFECT day with the @TeamTresselFC in Crooksville, OH! Every visit reminds me that this initiative is about so much more than fitness. It’s about helping young people build healthy habits, develop character, strengthen their mindset, and discover that the choices they make today shape the life they’ll live tomorrow. What makes this program so special is that we don’t just encourage students, we equip them. The Team Tressel Fitness Challenge gives schools a system that helps students build lasting habits, encourages accountability, and creates opportunities for success both inside and outside the classroom. One of the most powerful moments of the day was watching the entire Crooksville students and staff come together for the Lap of Love. After everything the Crooksville community has endured through recent flooding, it was a beautiful reminder that healing happens when people walk together. I really appreciated seeing the teachers join the students. Everyone chose to participate. That’s leadership. That’s what togetherness looks like. Every student finished. Every teacher finished. Every lap reminded us that we’re stronger when we move forward together. Thank you to the students, teachers, staff, and the entire Crooksville community for your resilience, your hospitality, and your heart. It was a privilege to spend the day with you. Here’s to building healthier habits, stronger communities, and young people who understand that the best things in life are accomplished one step at a time. 💙💪🏽

SUCCESS IS TOO EXPENSIVE IF IT COSTS YOU EVERYTHING SUCCESS WAS SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE. If you built the business for freedom...but now you have none. Built it for your family...but never see them. Built it for security...but live in constant anxiety. Built it because you loved it...but now resent it. DON'T WIN AT BUSINESS AND LOSE AT LIFE.

Had an amazing time speaking at the @OhioRealtors Annual Convention & Expo!! A huge thank you to President Mick# Gordon and the entire Ohio REALTORS® team for the opportunity to serve. I’m grateful for your trust and for creating a conference that invests not only in professional excellence but also in the people behind the profession. One of the first things I talked about was: Being needed can make neglecting yourself feel noble…IT ISN’T! Some of the most caring, driven, and successful professionals slowly convince themselves that taking care of everyone else while neglecting themselves is simply part of the job. It isn’t sustainable. You can’t keep pushing a person you refuse to prioritize. You can’t keep demanding the best from a person you keep neglecting, and you certainly can’t build a sustainable career on an unsustainable version of yourself. Before I forget, s/o to the @threadwellcloth family and Layne Dreven for the 🍏 threads! I also talked about being careful what we use to recover from what we’re carrying. Not everything that gives us relief actually restores us. Some things heal us. Other things simply numb us. Wisdom is knowing the difference. Another reminder that resonated throughout the room was this: Rest isn’t a reward for finishing everything. For most professionals, everything is never finished. There will always be another client, another listing, another email, another opportunity, another challenge. If your plan is to take care of yourself once life slows down, you may never get around to taking care of yourself at all. It was an honor to encourage such an outstanding group of professionals. This was my fourth opportunity to partner with Ohio REALTORS®, and I’m incredibly grateful for every chance to encourage people who spend their lives serving others. Thank you again for allowing me to share, encourage, and hopefully offer a little perspective that will continue long after the conference ended. “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” - James 4:14 It was an honor to speak at the CYG Worship Night. So many students, families, and community members gathered at Northmor High School for a student-led night of worship. 🙏🏽 Walking into a packed gymnasium filled with young people passionately worshiping God was a beautiful reminder that He is still moving in the hearts of this generation. One of the biggest points I talked about was: Live like later may never come. Every day is a gift. Tomorrow isn’t promised. So don’t wait to become the person God is calling you to be. Don’t wait to forgive. Don’t wait to love. Don’t wait to serve. Don’t wait to say yes to the purpose He’s placed on your life. I also talked about something many of us struggle with: carrying burdens by ourselves. Sometimes we pray for strength, and God answers that prayer by sending us people to help carry the weight. Isolation will convince you that you have to carry alone what God designed to be carried in community. Independence says, “I can handle this.” Faith says, “I don’t have to.” Real strength isn’t refusing help. It’s having the humility to receive it when God provides it, even if it doesn’t arrive the way you expected. I challenged everyone with one simple question: What are you still holding on to that God is asking you to surrender? I’m so proud of the students of CYG, not only for hosting such a powerful worship night, but for continuing to lead with courage, from organizing events like this to gathering for pregame prayer before athletic competitions. You’re proving that faith isn’t just something we talk about on Sundays. It’s something we live every day. Thank you to all of the leaders, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and everyone who made this night possible. It was an honor to serve alongside you.

Columbus City Preparatory School for Boys Annual Tie-Tying Ceremony In life, you either win or you lose, but winning isn’t living a perfect life. WINNING IS continuing to move forward when life gives you a reason to stop. For a young person, winning might mean studying a little harder after a bad test. For a parent, it might mean working two jobs and still getting your kids to the bus stop on time. For an educator, it might mean showing up with patience for a student who makes patience difficult. For a community member, winning might simply mean giving one hour a week to show up for a young person who needs you. Winning won’t always look impressive. Sometimes it simply looks like showing up, staying the course, and taking the next right step. There are no ties when it comes to the lives of our young people. Every one of us has a role to play in helping them win. Wishing every scholar, educator, and family at Columbus City Preparatory School for Boys an incredible school year. Keep showing up. Keep moving forward. Keep winning. 🙏🏾

It was an honor to speak at the annual Columbus Prep School for Boys Tie-Tying Ceremony and witness so many parents, families, mentors, educators, and community members come together to support these outstanding young men. Moments like this remind us that it truly takes a village. One of the biggest messages I shared was: Winning isn’t having a perfect life. Winning is continuing to move forward when life gives you every reason to stop. I challenged the young men to raise their standards, refuse to settle, and TIE themselves to something greater than themselves. Tie yourself to accountability when excuses would be easier. Tie yourself to excellence when average becomes acceptable. Tie yourself to respect in a world where disrespect often gets the attention. The decisions you make today will shape the man you become tomorrow. I also encouraged the parents. Sometimes winning is simply getting your child out of bed, out the door, and giving them another opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. To every volunteer, mentor, and community member who helped tie a tie yesterday, I left them with one challenge: Don’t just tie the tie. Stay tied to the young man. One conversation won’t change a life, but consistent relationships can. Our young people don’t just need our advice, they need our presence, our encouragement, and our willingness to keep showing up. I’m grateful for my relationship with Principal Williams and CCPSB through the @driven_foundation. We’ve had the privilege of mentoring and investing in many of these young men through our after-school program, and it’s a blessing to continue walking alongside them. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a meaningful tradition. … Fight Through It: The Battles, Breakthroughs, and Beauty of Becoming Resilient Enough to Never Give Up is available now at FightThroughIt.com, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.
