48 Tonnes. 80 Minutes. 1 Dad Bod. Just before the 3rd Test, I’ll be trying to lift the combined weight of every match day squad of the whole Lions Tour (48,000kg) in the time it takes to complete a rugby match (80 minutes) for two amazing causes. justgiving.com/team/liftingt…

One of the most damaging defeats in memory for England. Lack of basic skill execution, lapses of concentration, an inability to adapt when plan A fails. Scrum about the only thing gone well. Real risk they will go 1 win in this 6N. Then there will be some decisions to make.

I love the bloke but what the hell was that attempted tackle from Genge. Really worrying to see experienced players switching off like that.

Agree with Smith on at 15. Steward has been tidy IMO, one of the better attackers & 2 try-savers - don’t blame him for a yellow brought about by desperation covering for others’ mistakes - but Ford’s struggles & England’s failing kicking game means Smith offers far more balance.

Idea for TV Show: England prop travels to various cities of importance on the rugby calendar prior to significant fixtures and provides interesting and detailed historical background for the discerning rugby fan. Call it the “Heyestory Channel”

This is legitimately me every time I see a Joe Heyes segment on one of those BTS England vids.

Where can I put money on Scott Robertson being the next Scotland coach?

In terms of players who fit the bill of clubs they’re joining, I can’t think of many better matches. Huge work rate combined with big physicality. Think he’ll be a huge success after shining in a struggling Dragons. Plus brings some much-needed moustache game to the East Mids.

Absolute mystery why players are asking Sanderson for shit loads of cash in the aftermath of Sanderson saying he has shit loads of cash to spend on players. Pretty wild. Pretty funny.

That’s the result England have needed. For a long time, they’ve only stepped up after being written off and flattered to deceive under the weight of expectation. That win had a bit of everything in terms of performance, but the exciting thing is there is still loads to improve.

My query whether or not the Pom squad could maintain the scrum pressure comprehensively answered…
Delighted for Dingwall there - had some up and downs this autumn but has been excellent today. Just reward for an understated display. Big risk for the Pom squad, here, weirdly. Think the props have started to get on top and lineout seems fixed, so they need to keep it up!

I’m delighted but that is a harsh yellow for Taylor. Yes it was deliberately playing the ball on the floor but England weren’t going anywhere. Is it any different to going off your feet, pushing the offside line too much? Penalty would be fine.

England’s lineout has been properly ropey, but I’ve been super impressed with the scrum. Baxter and Heyes continuing to grow their reputations in the tight whilst banging people in defence. Encouraging.

My favourite player to watch, growing up. I sat in tears watching his interview, yet still in awe at the strength & bravery of Lewis & his wife Annie. He threw himself into everything in his playing career & he’ll inspire others by doing the same here. We’re with you, Mad Dog.

In the only part of the stadium which is uncovered. Happy to be here and all that, but FFS 😂

Well fuck that. Never doing it again. I stupidly thought 50 tonnes sounded way better than 48, so that’s what I managed in 80 minutes. And then threw up. Still time to make my humiliation worthwhile. Please support one of the amazing charities! justgiving.com/team/liftingt…

The front 25 tonnes (40 minutes in 20 seconds - each “flick of the bar” is actually a set of 10, I promise!!). Back started to spasm at the end, which was shit. Wife sportingly walked on me to loosen it up, seemed worryingly keen.

The back 25, where I went to very dark places. Thanks to my wife, in laws and best mate for cheering me on to the end when I wanted to give up!

This is an awesome breakdown of something I thought whilst watching big bad neither the skill nor work ethic to produce. What a team try, and what a great tweet Kevin!
The @lionsofficial scored a sensational team try to win the 2nd Test against Australia. 1️⃣4️⃣/1️⃣5️⃣ players touched the ball in a final possession that lasted 1️⃣0️⃣8️⃣ seconds and took in 2️⃣8️⃣ passes, 1️⃣5️⃣ carries into contact and 1️⃣2️⃣ rucks.
