Festival of Miles proves the my point again. If you want to have a successful track meet you need to focus on the high school athletes. They are the ones putting fans in the stands.
People complain about the popularity of track, but there are some hard truths we need to look at
1. Why is the sport more popular at the high school level than the pro level?
2. Why is a sport that is well participated at the high school level have so little pro fans?
So far this outdoor season RunCCG athletes have crushed state meets
21-State Champs
66-State Medals
10-State Runner Ups
4-State Meet Records
We aren’t done
This one felt good. Proud of these boys
In a photo finish, Chatham (NJ) wins the #PennRelays high school boys 4x800 Championship of America in 7:47.66, just .02 ahead of Jamaica College. Chatham is the first 🇺🇸 team to win here in 10 years!

Pressure is a privilege. Don’t let the “big” race cause anxiety. Remember you have already achieved more than most athletes could dream. You have the privilege of racing for a championship. Enjoy it.
PR Running Camp is now at 4 major Sponsors. $200 worth of gear going to each athlete. 4 Olympic Trials Qualifiers are speaking/working camp. Plus some guy with a mullet
18 guys under 4:20 this year, 36 under 4:25. The hard part is now. Over the last 1-2 months of the season getting an average of 5 seconds better
The best athletes I’ve had don’t question training. They are honest on how they feel and believe in what they are told. They also never let outside noise (friends, teammates, random parents, uncles, other coaches) bother them.
“How do I run when I’m not motivated?”
Easy, look at last years results. This is about you and your journey, you are responsible for the outcome. Go be great.
