You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
It's amazing when you bring in a group of athletes and cast a vision so bright that each member of that class see themselves adding to the overall success of that vision. Baxter was a 4:40 guy in the 1600m in HS. Today he just ran the equivalent of a 4:22.5.
Very happy with Coach Webber and the stellar freshman class. Lots of local talent working very hard. Lead by Cooper Parmer who's hs 3200m PR was 10:02 just ran the equivalent of a 9:18 today in Birmingham.
In 2014 the WCC team rejoined D2 and the GSC. While competing as an affiliate member, the W scored 285 points and finished 12th. TODAY, the W finished 2nd for the 3rd consecutive year in arguably the best team performance ever. 👏
