If solana is the go-to chain for launching memecoins (including scams), then top projects might not want be associated to that and might end up launching on a chain like Base.
This is imo the single biggest risk factor for Solana in 2025.

Happy birthday to our partner Genfinity!
Massive congratulations to the entire team including @IOV_OWL, @valorkopeny, Sarah, Colin and all the other people who are and have been involved.
The ecosystem is lucky to have such great and hard working people pushing to onboard people into Web3
Today is Genfinity's (3) Year Birthday.
Since the fall of 2022 we have hosted well over 100 X spaces with well over 300,000 listeners.
We've had the honor of interviewing countless projects and leaders from $HBAR, $AZERO, $DAG, $NXRA, $XRP, $CSPR, $ETH, $ICP, $LYX, $ALGO and so many more ecosystems it's hard to count. From NFT creators to C-Level executives we have tried our best to extract maximum value through any content or interview we have facilitated.
We have a long way to go but hopefully people see the hard work we put in and hopefully those we've had the honor of interviewing feel they received value and respect from our discussions or content.
We've hosted a handful of digital events resulting in over 20,000 wallets being created. We have had the honor of attending a handful of physical events and have tried our best to provide the most professional content possible from those events.
Since November of 2023 after launching genfinity.io we have seen 230,000+ article reads and tens of thousands of website visitors monthly. We strive to write and publish the best content we can with the ecosystems we have the opportunity to engage with and with the bandwidth we have. We started our site as a square space site and a monthly research report, sometimes it's crazy to look back at where we are now. We are also very aware of how far we need to still go and are working towards bettering our site and content every day.
We have strived to deliver value to individual ecosystems and builders as well as bring ecosystems and builders together. Our approach in bringing networks into cross-chain discussions has been a major focus, sometimes it doesn't seem apparent the types of networking/connections that occur behind the scenes but we are grateful when those relationships come to fruition.
Thank you to all the builders and other content providers, I would individually name all of you but there are far too many to name. So many people have helped us with so many things asking for nothing in return. It has been amazing to watch all of you grow and evolve over the past few years. We continue to try and grow organically as well through hard work and authentic content in an industry where authenticity and hard work are often hard to gauge (as you all know).
It has been an honor to work in an industry that is going to become ingrained into the very fabric of society. It has been an honor to get to know every one of the builders we have met in the past three years. It has been an honor to provide content for so many diverse and amazing communities.
None of the above would be possible without the communities in every ecosystem.
Without you all the content would not matter. Without you all there would be no reason for us to provide the content. From the bottom of our hearts, more than anything or anyone in this space thank you to every single community member that has ever liked, shared, retweeted, commented or watched any of our content.
We will continue striving to deliver the best content we possibly can, to empower builders in any way possible and attempt to keep moving the dial forward to the best of our capability.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity through all of your continued support.
Very Respectfully,
Solomon
