Indians are not your enemy, America.
Not the doctor in your hospital.
Not the engineer building your future.
Not the founder creating jobs.
Not the family that came here believing, perhaps more fiercely than most, in the American dream.
And 1.4 billion Indians across the ocean are not waiting to become your enemy either.
But relationships can be poisoned. Alliances can be squandered. A generation can be taught to resent a country it once admired.
That is what makes this moment dangerous.
Every racial slur dressed up as “policy.” Every viral lie sold as “populism.” Every attempt to turn an entire people into a scapegoat has a cost far beyond the internet.
America has enough real adversaries.
It does not need to manufacture one out of India.
We hope the POLITICIANS are listening before it is too late.
