Brace yourself for the handsome boy you鈥檙e about to meet.
This is 10 year old Holden and he is melting hearts daily since his arrival to Rusty鈥檚 Angels. We had space for 1 large breed dog and we were hoping the next would be a handsome land hippo. Holden came to us from Pinal County Animal control in Casa Grande. He was brought into their shelter as a stray.
This boy needs to be neutered but then he will be looking for his new forever. Although you may have to fight all of us for him because he is spectacular.

Meet this cute, short, chubby little duo, Lizzy Do and Copper Su! 馃グ These two precious girls helped us reach the incredible milestone of 500 and 501 senior angels saved! 馃帀馃槶鉂わ笍
It鈥檚 a bittersweet celebration, as their story is one of those that breaks your heart a little. 馃挃
Lizzy Do and Copper Su were boarded at a boarding facility back in early August. Sadly, their owner fell ill and eventually had to move into assisted living. Their owner never made it back to pick them up, leaving these two little girls with an uncertain future.
At 18 years old, Lizzy Do and 16 years old, Copper Su have found their forever retirement home right here at Rusty鈥檚 Angels Sanctuary! 馃惥馃彙
These girls deserve to spend whatever time they have left, whether that means days, months, or even years, surrounded by love, comfort, and the medical care they so desperately need and deserve.
500 and 501. Two more precious lives. Two more reasons why we do what we do. And two more little angels who will never have to wonder where they belong again. 馃ス鉂わ笍

鉂わ笍馃惥 WELCOME HOME, DIXIE PIXIE! 馃惥鉂わ笍
This beauty is Dixie, and she is absolutely spectacular and just 10 years young! 馃槏 We are so happy that we were able to make a spot for her here at Rusty鈥檚 Angels Sanctuary.
Sadly, Dixie鈥檚 world was turned upside down. First, her daddy passed away, and then her mama had to move out of state into assisted living and could no longer care for her. 馃挃
Thankfully, a wonderful woman named Georgie stepped in and cared for Dixie for several months, giving her a safe place to land while figuring out what would come next. But Georgie already has a pack of senior dogs who need her, and she knew she couldn鈥檛 keep Dixie permanently.
That鈥檚 when she reached out to Rusty鈥檚 Angels. 鉂わ笍 And just like that, Dixie鈥檚 next chapter began!
