The scammers mentioned in my previous tweet (@VDeck_call which changed its twitter name) are mad I saved some people from getting scammed. They don’t know how minting NFT’s work or that I have a good grasp of the english language - as evidenced by this fake screenshot.

With the recent location update for X we learn, unsurprisingly, that most of the scam bots that reply (to things like lost password or stolen / hacked bitcoin posts) are from - shocker - nigeria. It’s the nigerian prince email scam reborn.
This fake AI product keeps getting pushed to me. Does @TeamYouTube have zero quality control for ads? youtu.be/OlNv7OY9thM?si=
19 million views for this credit card harvesting scam so far.
I love starting off every message from people that contact me out of the blue with: “hello! Good to meet you. Just so you know, I won’t download anything” they drop off 99.9% of the time. But there will ALWAYS be people who fall for downloading shit.
I HAVE JUST BEEN PHISHED AND MY METAMASK DRAINED
Thankfully, the hacker didn't get so much as I don't keep most of my crypto on this account. How it happened:
I saw a message request here from @BerniePleskoff who was asking to interview me. I checked him out; he seemed like a legit journalist @Forbes
Just to warn people of a common scam - fake games. They usually copy an existing game and have you download a virus for a “job”. There was one copying @ParallelTCG called “Nebulard”. They just changed their name to “Galacard” since word got out. AVOID.
Shoutout to @Warden_Secure ‘s article on their previous name. xitter.cf/warden_secure/status/1…

Add @theorionixweb3 to the “fake scam” virus list. Fake job offers just to see if they can trick you to download a virus.
I’m sorry but the fact that people still fall for these really glaringly obvious scams just shows that there are not enough protections in place to protect people from their own gullibility. Every single step of this is red flag city...
Today is not a good day..
I woke up and noticed that my most important nfts (@Azuki elemental, @JirasanOfficial , @GLHFers ecc..) along with eth, Pepe and Bnb had been taken..
It's the first time it's happened to me and I hope it doesn't happen again.. it hurts..
Unfortunately it was my fault and I'm making this thread to protect you..
How did it all happen?👇🏻
1) contacted out of the blue for a job that pays a lot weekly?
2) person says “kindly” (always the biggest red flag. not joking.)
3) fake populated discord
4) wants you to download a fake game
And so much more. The thread poster claims they did some due diligence but it’s clear
Gotta love it - and scammers like vdeck either pay for or know how to get temp gold checkmark status and revert charges
🎯 12 #malware scams posted since I started last week.
If you don’t want to browse through the list, just avoid randos DMing you that mention:
Dexis
Silent Meta World
VDeck
Party Royale
Vorion / Vortax
Arcanix Land
Goheard
Calipso Project
Wion World
Room / Spectra
Does anyone still fall for this? Here’s another in the scams of fake programs coming from an account called @JuPearlMan_eth - asks if I can join a video call that will be “recorded” on a platform called “spectra” (a virus)
Go ahead and take a look at the socials of this fake wallet draining virus called spectra. See if you’d fall for this scam. linktr.ee/SpectraRoom
Vdeck isn’t the only fake wallet drainer scam to look out for.
🚨📋 Quick list of malware disguised as meeting software or games you must avoid:
- MeetHub (or MeetingHub)
- VDeck
- UNI APT
- Vortax
If you are asked to download new software just to have a meeting, and it’s not a recognizable grand, it’s likely a scam.
Don’t get tricked by X gold stars, slick websites, registered companies, etc.
It’s hard to pick what my favorite part of their fake screenshot is…
1. Bad grammar
2. Having such an impassioned conversation that fast all within the same minute (5:36. Should probably vary your fake timestamps in the middle.)
3. “Sniff my ass”.
Stop trying to drain wallets.
These accounts will always contact you out of nowhere. They have a job for you or want you to consult and they will promise you a lot of money. Today it was the @Krisslee__eth account. Avoid, of course.
Least surprising update. A few people have DM’d me saying they’ve had their wallets drained. Paying for a gold checkmark (a thousand bucks or less) will be more than worth the cost to seem legitimate to net tens or hundreds of thousands.
Vdeck is a scam. @VDeck_app
If anyone tries to get you to install anything on twitter - like this @VDeck_app vdeck “app”, you can safely assume it’s a scam. You can 1. Buy a golden checkmark on twitter
Or
2. Hack an account that has one.
Made sure to tag so when people search for it they find this post.
