The relationship between Australia and India has never been stronger 🇦🇺🇮🇳
And today we’re building on our ties in defence, trade, investment and energy.
As well as our work in education and technology.
Because together, we can be a force for peace and prosperity in our region.

There was a hugely important announcement today at COP30: South Korea joined the Powering Past Coal Alliance, and in doing so, announced it will not build any new coal plants and will shut down 40 existing plants by 2040. As the country with the 7th largest coal fleet, this is a significant signal to the rest of the world. I offer my sincere thanks and congratulations to President Lee Jae-Myung on this action. koreatimes.co.kr/southkorea/…
